The upcoming Tata Sierra was recently unveiled, and it has managed to shake the entire automotive industry. A lot of people are interested in buying one, and of these, there are a lot of people who have previously owned the first-generation Sierra as well. Recently, a video has been shared online in which one such owner has shared the images of his adventures done back in the day with his 1997 Sierra. He has also mentioned that he will be getting the new one as well.

The video showing the adventures of the 1997 Sierra has been shared on Instagram by Vfly09 on their page. In this short video, the owner has shared a number of images of him and his 1997 Tata Sierra three-door SUV. The owner in the images can be seen driving through the mountains of what appears to be Leh-Ladakh.

This particular white-colored Sierra was taken to the snow-capped mountains by the owner and his friends. In the images, he and his friends can be seen standing next to this SUV on a mountain with snow behind them. Also, in the images, the SUV was seen parked in front of the trucks used by the Indian Army.

In the caption, the owner has stated, “Me & my Tata Sierra, my first car, my first freedom, my first pride. Some bonds don't fade… they just get stronger with time.”

The owner of this 1997 Sierra, in addition to the images of his old car, has also added the images of the concept version of the Sierra, stating “Coming soon.” This means that the owner will be buying the upcoming Sierra as well. Tata Motors recently unveiled the Sierra, and it has announced that the official pricing of the new SUV will be announced on November 25th.
This time around, the Tata Sierra will not be offered as a three-door SUV. Rather, it will be launched as a more practical five-door version. Despite this, Tata Motors has tried to give the upcoming SUV a similar design as the original model. The B-pillar of the new Sierra has been made thicker, and the C-pillar has been finished in gloss black.

In addition, the middle portion of the roof has been finished in black, which overall gives it a similar window-like appearance which the old model came with. As for the front, this time, the Sierra will look much more modern and futuristic and boast a set of LED headlights with connected LED DRL in the middle. The front grille will be finished in gloss black.
On the side profile, it will come with massive 19-inch alloy wheels, flush-type door handles, gloss black claddings, and its overall silhouette looks very macho. As for the rear, like the front, it will be getting connected LED taillights and a bold rear bumper with a pronounced silver skid plate.

Tata Motors has spared no expense in making the Sierra feel a class apart. In terms of the interior, the new SUV will get a triple-screen layout with three curved screens, four-spoke steering with illuminated Tata logo, automatic climate control, 12-speaker JBL sound system, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, and many others.

Powertrain options of the upcoming Sierra will include a 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The former will make 170 PS and 280 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the latter will make 118 PS and 260 Nm of torque. Both will be offered with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT gearbox. Pricing is expected to start at Rs 11 lakh and go up to Rs 20 lakh.
