12 Year-OId Rolls Royce Ghost 'Converted' To Latest 2025 Model [Video]

One of the newest trends that is currently trending in India is to facelift older cars into newer versions to make them look brand-new again. So far, we have seen these facelifts being done on Fortuners, Innovas, and even some BMWs and Mercedes Benz and other luxury cars as well. However, now we have a video in which a 2013 Rolls Royce Ghost has been given a facelift and a new dual-tone look.
The video showing the facelift process of this Rolls Royce Ghost has been shared on YouTube by Infinity Detailing Devils on their page. It starts off with Ajju, the owner of the shop, who is also a popular YouTuber, introducing this particular Rolls Royce Ghost. He mentions that this particular Ghost, which is a 2013 model, has come to their shop for a facelift.
He then mentions that this car already has a paint protection film on it. However, the craftsmanship on it is extremely bad. He shows the intricate corners of this PPF application job and mentions that it has a lot of cuts all around. Additionally, the color of the PPF has turned completely yellow because it is a very low-quality PPF.
Following this, he mentions that in addition to the reapplication of their new 10-year warranty PPF, they will also be facelifting this Ghost. For this, the owner states that they have already imported the new front bumper, bonnet, and headlights. He adds that they will also be giving this Ghost a dual-tone color theme as well.
After the introduction, the video then shows the process of the facelift. The front grille, headlights, bonnet, and the bumper get removed, after which the new Ghost Series II headlights, which get a more modern-looking LED headlight and DRL setup, get installed, and the front bumper and bonnet are also added after getting painted.
The front bumper is painted in the same white color as the body. However, to give this vehicle a more unique look, the bonnet is painted in the classy shade of silver. Together with the white color of the body, it looks very beautiful. Apart from this, new PPF is added to the vehicle after complete paint correction, and the interior detailing is also done to make it look brand-new again.
Following the completion of the facelift and PPF installation, the car is shown to the owners. They mention that they initially thought that the yellow PPF would not peel off. However, after the work has been done, it now looks extremely beautiful and looks completely white again, which previously became yellow due to the low-quality PPF. They then cut a cake and celebrate the delivery.
The short answer to this question is yes. Facelifting any car makes a lot of sense as it saves the owner the hassle of first selling their car, then paying more for a newer model, which is only marginally better. With a proper facelift, the vehicle gets a refreshed appearance. Also, when it comes to luxury cars, it makes even more sense to facelift.
As we all know, luxury cars depreciate a lot. So if an owner wants to sell their old luxury car and buy a new one, it would cost a lot of money. So instead of wasting money by selling, they opt for a facelift, which gives them new looks for a fraction of the price that they would pay if they wanted to buy a newer model.
