India's First Mahindra Thar Facelift With 'Angry Bird Grille' Is Here [Video]
The Mahindra Thar three-door has recently been given a mid-life refresh. As a result, a few very essential features have been added to this SUV, and they have been taken from the Thar ROXX, its more practical sibling. Now, as we all know, buyers of the Thar love to modify it. Recently, a video has been shared online in which the brand-new 2025 Mahindra Thar three-door has been given a bunch of modifications, including the popular “Angry Bird grille.”
This video, showing the exterior and interior modifications of the newly updated 2025 Mahindra Thar three-door, has been shared on YouTube by Musafir Aka Joshi on their channel. In this video, the vlogger shows the extensive modifications done on this particular new Thar. It starts off with him showing the vehicle in a completely dismantled state.
He first shows the cabin of this SUV from the rear and highlights that the SUV now gets a central armrest with rear AC vents. Next up, he moves to the front of the car and mentions that they will be changing the front grille. He adds that, as part of the upgrade from the company, the front grille now comes painted in gloss black.
Apart from these, he then shows around the vehicle in which he mentions that they are adding an aftermarket Android screen, new speakers, and a bunch of other upgrades on the outside.
Modifications done on the 2025 Mahindra Thar three-door
Following the introduction, the vlogger then shows the final result after all the modifications were done on this SUV. First off, at the front, he mentions that they have added the popular “Angry Bird grille,” finished in gloss black. After that, he adds that there are other options, like the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon grille, as well.
Next, he shows the turn indicators, which have also been changed and are now LEDs. The main highlights of the front of this SUV are the bifocal LED fog lights and the much more powerful circular LED headlights with LED DRLs. He also shows the throw of these lights. Moving on, he then moves to the side profile of this SUV and shows the newly added alloy wheels.
The vlogger states that they have added the Thar ROXX 19-inch alloy wheels on this three-door model, and it has completely changed its appearance. Next up, he then moves to the rear of this SUV and shows the new LED reflectors. This particular Thar has also been given Thar LED DRL-equipped ORVMs as well, which have a matrix effect.
Interior modifications
After showing the complete exterior, the vlogger then shows the interior of this SUV. The main highlight of the cabin is the newly added 13.2-inch Hypersonic touchscreen Android infotainment system. He highlights that it is a simple plug-and-play setup and does not require splicing of wiring from the factory.
Apart from it, they have also added ambient lighting on the dashboard and door panels, and Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG-styled AC vents. The vlogger mentions that they have given this SUV new speakers, which have been placed on the lower portion of the dashboard where the factory speakers are placed, and also on the roof.
