At just 33 years of age, Amjad Sithara, CEO of BCC Group International, has become the youngest Indian to own a Rolls Royce Cullinan Series II Black Badge- an SUV known for its high standards and opulence overload. The vehicle now has an ex-showroom price of Rs 12.25 Crores in India. This delivery, however, took place in Dubai.

Interestingly this isn't even his first Rolls Royce! Amjad had previously gifted a Rolls Royce Wraith coupe to his wife on her 21st birthday. This again, is said to be a Black Badge. In 2021, the coupe had an ex-showroom price of 8.5 crores and commanded Rs 29 lakh in insurance alone!

Amjad Sithara's New Series II Cullinan Black Badge: A Closer Look At It

The 'Black Badge' is the alter ego of Rolls Royce vehicles which is bolder, dynamic and more powerful. It commands a significant premium over the standard version. For the series II Cullinan, the price difference is around 2.25 Crores.

The Black Badge Cullinan has a darker and more aggressive aesthetics to it. The front fascia houses minor changes, and the grille now comes with horizontal Chrome bars. Even the air intakes come with unique treatment. The rear bumper has been refreshed and now comes with a stainless-steel skid plate. The door handles wear Black and the SUV gets a colour-coded lower body work as well.

Inside, the Series II Cullinan's Black Badge version gets a full-width glass panel that runs across the width of the dashboard, a new 'Spirit of Ecstasy Clock Cabinet', the latest version of the Spirit infotainment system, an all-digital driver display which can be colour-matched with the bodywork.

Amjad has opted for a classy shade of Black for his second-generation Rolls Royce SUV. The coachline is finished in a shade of bright Orange. There's a keen eye for contrast and boldness. Even inside the cabin, this CEO has done ample speccing.

Under its hood, the Black Badge Cullinan has the same 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 petrol engine found on the standard SUV. It is, however, in a higher state of tune. It produces 600 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque- 30 hp and 50 Nm more than the Series II Cullinan's 570hp and 850 Nm.

The transmission on offer is an 8-speed automatic unit. In terms of performance, the Black Badge is more aggressive and dynamic. It was launched in India in October 2024, alongside the regular Series II SUV.
