Of these, he mentions that two are in Karnal and one is in Murthal. Following this, he added that he currently has a daily run of 200 km, so in order to save on fuel costs, he opted for the Hyundai Creta Electric. Next up, he was asked the question about why he picked the Hyundai Creta over the MG Windsor EV and the newly launched Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9E.

The owner of the Creta Electric then stated that although all of the EVs are very good and capable, he still chose the Hyundai Creta Electric as he is already a Hyundai customer. He added that he currently owns a Verna as well as a Creta, and both of them are powered by a diesel engine. So, as he already trusts Hyundai and is satisfied with the build quality, after-sales service, and roadside assistance, he decided to buy the Creta Electric.

Ownership experience

Following this, the vlogger asks the owner about the details of this exact variant and how much he has driven it so far. To this, the owner highlights that it is the top-of-the-line Excellence variant, which comes with the 51.4 kWh battery pack. He added that he paid around Rs 26 lakh for this SUV, and so far, he has driven it over 4,700 km in just a month of its ownership.

Next, the owner was asked about the real-world range of the Hyundai Creta Electric 51.4 kWh variant. To this, he replies that the company claims a range of 473 km on a single full charge. However, with him driving on the highway at 100 kmph with air conditioning and seat ventilation on, it provides a real-world range of around 430 km. Also, he added that with the 60 kW DC fast charger, it takes around an hour to fully charge the battery.

Driving experience

Following these points, the owner of the Creta Electric is asked about the driving experience of this EV. To this, he replies that the vehicle is very fun to drive, and he believes it's better than the driving experience of the ICE Creta. He added that he generally uses the normal mode, and even in this standard mode, the acceleration is better than ICE cars.

The owner also highlighted that as the vehicle does not have an engine and instead has an electric motor, it is very quiet even on highways when the vehicle is being driven at high speeds. Lastly, he adds that as the batteries are placed underneath the vehicle, Hyundai has increased the ground clearance, and it offers 10 mm more than the ICE Creta, so it does not bump into road obstacles, which gives it a more plush ride.
