Bugatti is a legendary performance carmaker. It needs no preface among enthusiasts. Most of us would have had the Veyron as our ‘poster car’ at some point in life. With its iconic design, mighty W16 engine, and breathtaking performance, the Veyron was indeed a legend. The Chiron, which succeeded it in 2016, is as iconic and rare. Due to its price and exclusivity factor, very few Indian billionaires have Chirons in their garages. Here are six such lucky Indian owners of this hypersport. Needless to say, none of these cars are based in India.

Mayur Shree

The first one in this list is Mayur Shree, a highly successful realtor operating out of Texas, USA. He bought the Chiron in 2018 and is often cited as the first Indian to own one in the US. Reports back then said that Mayur bought it for his father, thus bringing an emotional flake to the already epic purchase tale. Mayur is also an entrepreneur and industrialist.

In addition to the Chiron, he has a Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, Lamborghini Aventador Convertible, McLaren P1, Porsche GT3 RS, Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, Lamborghini Urus, Huracan STO, and a Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster in his garage. The latest news says that this Indian billionaire has ordered a Tourbillon with the same spec as his Chiron.

His Instagram handle even has a reel showing him spec'ing a Koenigsegg Jesko. It is also likely to reach his garage soon.

Harman Shoker

Harman Shoker has a true rags-to-riches story. In 1994, he was a truck driver. The same year, he also founded the Harman Group (HGC) with just one truck and trailer. His entrepreneurial journey soon rose to success. Today HGC has hundreds of satellite-tracked trucks and trailers running across North America.

The bossman has built an enviable car collection. He in fact, owns two Bugattis- the Veyron and the Chiron. It is rare to find this duo together in an Indian garage. Shoker also has a bunch of other expensive (and fast) cars and SUVs as well.

The Singh Collection

Unlike most others on this list who live abroad, the man behind ‘The Singh Collection’ actually resides in Punjab, India. His garage is one of the most talked-about among Indian enthusiasts. He owns not one, not two, but three Bugatti hypercars- a Chiron, a Veyron, and a Veyron Grand Sport. He even took these to the iconic Château Saint Jean in France- the home of Bugatti.

Kris Singh

Kris Singhis the founder, president and CEO of Holtec International, a major in the nuclear energy space. It was established in 1986 and currently has a presence in 18 countries across five continents. Sigh is thus, one of the most successful Indian-origin businessmen from around the world.

He owns a Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport- the limited edition variant with an extreme focus on driving dynamics and exclusivity. The garage also has multiple other supercars as well.

Balvinder Sahni

Also known as Abu Sabah in Dubai, Sahni owns and chairs the Raj Sahni Group (RSG Group of Companies). It ranks among the most profitable property development firms in the UAE. Sahni owns a Bugatti Chiron, along with multiple other cars like Rolls-Royces and a Mercedes G-Wagen.

He even spent Rs 52 crores for a VIP number plate for his Chiron! The car itself had a price of around Rs 28 crores when he bought it. His living room also has a special edition Bugatti on display like an absolute piece of art.

Satish Sanpal

Next in this list is Satish Sanpal, the Chairman of ANAX Group, a major real estate company in Dubai. He owns a Bugatti Chiron finished in a dual-tone Red and Black shade. A couple of years ago, a video of him taking delivery of the hypercar had gone viral. Sanpal also owns a slew of other expensive cars and SUVs, and often creates headlines with his super-expensive purchases and luxurious, star studded lifestyle.

The Chiron Is Very FAST!

More than its exclusive nature, it is the Chiron’s monstrous powertrain and breathtaking performance that binds it close to the hearts of enthusiasts. It is powered by an 8.0-litre quad-turbocharged W16 engine that produces 1,479 bhp and 1,600 Nm. This makes the Chiron one of the fastest cars in the world, with a top speed of 420 kph.
