When it comes to pickup trucks, the American automakers make some of the most outrageous ones in the world. They are generally humongous in size and are packed with features and massive engines. However, there is a new kid on the block that is electric. We are talking about the Tesla Cybertruck. This unique wedge-shaped spaceship lookalike pickup truck is one of the most insane vehicles on earth. Recently, a video of an 82-year-old Ford Motor Company retiree checking out the Tesla Cybertruck has been shared online.

This video of an 82-year-old gentleman giving his candid opinions on the Tesla Cybertruck has been shared on Instagram by Patriotic Kenny on their page. In this reel, the old Ford retiree can be seen checking out this unique pickup truck at a parking lot. He is accompanied by a few people who help him understand the features and design offered by Tesla.
He is first seen opening the door of the Tesla Cybertruck with the help of the woman behind the camera. She guides him that the button is hidden on the door on top, and after this, he opens the door. Immediately, he states, “Oh my goodness.” He then mentions that the main driver’s seat and the front view are simple, but the center console area is not that simple.
After this, he enters the Cybertruck, sits on the driver’s seat, and mentions that it is hard to get in. Following this, the woman shows him how the rear lid for the truck bed can be opened and closed using the massive infotainment screen in the center. Upon seeing this, the gentleman says, “You gotta be kidding me.”
Moving on, the woman then tells him that this is a Cybertruck, and she asks him to turn on the indicators of this vehicle. The man keeps looking at the infotainment screen. However, she then mentions that it is not on the screen and is in front of him. He then starts looking for a traditional stalk behind the steering wheel.
When she guides him that it is in front of him, he finds the button for the turn indicators on the steering wheel. He then gets mesmerized again, and when the woman tells him that the Cybertruck uses a camera as a rearview mirror, he gets even more impressed. She then shows him a number of additional features of the Tesla Cybertruck, and the old Ford retiree can be seen enjoying every moment of this Tesla Cybertruck experience.

For those who may not be aware, Tesla has created the Cybertruck to take on rivals like the Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado, Rivian R1T, and many other trucks that are popular in America. This truck boasts a very futuristic wedge-like design. It looks like a spaceship on wheels and is made out of a special stainless steel alloy.
All of the body panels of the Cybertruck are laser-cut and give it a very unique appearance. The Tesla Cybertruck comes in dual-motor and tri-motor variants. These deliver impressive performance figures, such as 0–100 km/h acceleration in 3.9 seconds for the dual-motor variant and 2.6 seconds for the Cyberbeast.
The Cybertruck’s AWD variant offers a range of approximately 340 miles per charge, while the Cyberbeast provides around 320 miles. Optional extender battery packs further increase range. On the inside, it comes equipped with an 18.5-inch touchscreen dashboard, along with a 9.4-inch touchscreen for rear-seat passengers.
