Mandovi Motors and its helmsman, Sanjay Rao, are well-known in South India. Mandovi was, in fact, Karnataka’s first Maruti dealership. Rao currently has a lot of followers on Instagram and is quite famous for his videos on cars and lifestyle. Recently, he shared a video that shows a day in his life, which is now racking up views and likes from car enthusiasts.
For starters, Sanjay Rao has a dream garage. He owns multiple luxury and sports cars- from Maybachs to Maseratis, BMWs and Lamborghinis. Rao’s day starts at 6:35 in the morning. He begins by doing workouts.
He starts working at 9:15 am and continues the same until 11 am. At 11, he goes out for a drive in his Maserati Levante. This SUV is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine and has a hefty price of Rs 1.45 Crores. The engine makes 275PS and the SUV can do the 0-100 kph in just 6.9 seconds. Driving it can really be fun.
After three in the afternoon, he is seen entering what looks like a farmhouse with his Land Cruiser. After having a coffee and finishing his work, Rao embarks on some off-road adventures with his Jimny. He is seen driving fast on the winding estate roads. It could surprise many that this billionaire has humble cars like the Jimny in his fleet. Later in the video, we see a dirt bike performing a jump. It seems to have Rao on its saddle.
After sunset, he returns to his mansion, takes rest, and plays pool. At around 9:30, he decides to drive his BMW M2. At this time in Bengaluru, the roads will have less traffic density and more open patches to speed. The M2, in fact, is a fun-to-drive car. It comes powered by a 3-litre turbocharged inline-six engine that produces 370 hp. 0-100 kph run happens in just 4.3 seconds with the dual-clutch transmission. The video ends by showing Rao speeding in the M2.

Rao is a true petrolhead, and his garage screams the same. He has a penchant for speed and owns the likes of a Porsche 911 GT3 RS and a Lamborghini Huracan STO finished in Green. Both these are known for their track-ready nature.
The STO has an ex-showroom price of Rs 4.99 Crores. Think of it as a track car that’s road legal. It is powered by a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine that generates 630bhp and 565Nm. 0-100 kph comes in just 3.0 seconds.
It is heavily inspired by the Huracan GT3 and the Super Trofeo Evo. The STO comes with a large, adjustable rear wing, a roof scoop, Brembo CCM-R carbon-ceramic brakes, and more.
It also gets three new drive modes- STO, Rain, and Trophy. The cabin has Carbon fibre seats with four-point seat belts, and Carbon fibre floor mats. There is always room for customisations under the Ad Personum program.
The 911 GT3 RS is powered by a 4.0-litre flat-six engine that produces 524hp. 0-100 kph run takes 3.2 seconds. The top-speed stands at 296 kph. It comes with three drive modes- Normal, Sport and Track.
