Gone are the days when politicians used to lead a humble life while tirelessly working for the nation. At present, most politicians in India lead a lifestyle that is not so humble. Many of them come from rich families and even own several premium and expensive cars. They use these cars to commute and are often spotted with a convoy. Aaditya Thackeray from Mumbai is one such politician, and he recently bought a brand-new Range Rover SUV worth Rs 3 crore.
The video has been shared by Cars For You on their YouTube channel. In this video, Aaditya Thackeray gets out of his brand-new Range Rover SUV. Aaditya Thackeray had served as the Cabinet Minister of Higher Education, Tourism, and Environment for the Government of Maharashtra.
The exact location where the politician was spotted is not known. As per the video, the politician has bought the Range Rover LWB version for himself. Range Rovers have been gaining popularity among celebrities after the manufacturer started assembling some of their models in India. This brought prices of some variants down, which reflected in increased sales.
Range Rover SUVs are extremely premium and offer an imposing road presence. It is because of these reasons that many rich customers prefer them. The SUV is loaded to the brim with premium features like a large 13.2-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Pivi Pro OS, a digital driver’s instrument cluster, voice commands, a head-up display, four-zone automatic climate control, Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB), wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a premium Meridian sound system, 24-way heated and cooled front seats with a massage function, and more.
The SUV also comes with premium leather upholstery, air suspension, and electrically adjustable seats with massage and memory functions. The Range Rover LWB SUV seen here is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The SUV seen here is said to be the petrol version, which uses a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder turbocharged MHEV engine. The engine generates around 394 BHP and 550 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to an automatic transmission, and power is sent to all four wheels.
Other than this, Aaditya has been spotted in an older-generation Range Rover Vogue SUV. We are not sure if he still has that SUV or if he replaced it with the new one. He was also seen in a BMW 5 GT.
Aaditya Thackeray comes from a very influential political family in Maharashtra. Other members of the family, like Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray, are extremely popular. Uddhav Thackeray has even served as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra for some time. He is often seen traveling in a Mercedes-Benz GL-Class SUV.
Raj Thackeray, who is a businessman and also the founding chairperson of MNS, also moves in expensive cars. He has been seen in several expensive cars like the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Toyota Land Cruiser LC200.
It was actually a bulletproof vehicle. However, Raj Thackeray upgraded to the current-generation Land Cruiser, and several videos of the SUV are available online. We are not sure if the current version is bulletproof or not.
