This video showing the abandoned Rolls Royce has been shared on Instagram by Pune Automotives on their channel. It starts off by showing the rear end of this particular Rolls Royce Ghost Series II. We can note that the rear windshield is completely broken, and the leaves falling from the trees have entered the cabin and are scattered around the windshield area.

Also, the number plate in the rear is not in the standard format. Instead, the registration number is written in Hindi. Apart from this, we can note that the rear left window is also shattered. In addition, like most abandoned high-end luxury cars, this particular Ghost Series II’s air suspension has also deflated completely, possibly due to blown-out air bags.

Soon after this, the video then shows the interior of the vehicle as the front left window was also shattered. We can note that the complete white and black leather interior is now covered in an extremely thick layer of dust. Also, there are spider webs everywhere, and the glove box is also open. Most likely, some miscreants have broken the windows and were trying to find valuable items in the cabin.

Also, the headlights of this sedan are missing. And the top portion of the grille on which the Spirit of Ecstasy used to reside has been stolen as well.

Who used to own this particular Rolls Royce?

As mentioned above, the abandoned Rolls Royce Ghost Series II belongs to Nanasaheb Shankar Gaikwad. He is a notorious moneylender from Pune who is currently under arrest by the authorities due to serious criminal charges. As per the reports, Gaikwad, along with his son Ganesh, was booked under the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA).

Reportedly, these cars were seized four years ago, and the authorities are still investigating the case and are assessing the seized assets related to the charges.

The Rolls Royce Ghost Series II seen in the video comes equipped with a massive 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged engine. It is capable of producing 570 Bhp and 780 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to an automatic transmission, and the power is sent to the rear wheels. Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan, actress Priyanka Chopra, South Indian actor Vijay, and many other famous people have owned this sedan.
