Actress Gifts Her Dad A Brand New Mahindra Thar Roxx SUV [Video]

We have also seen actors gift expensive cars to their parents in the past. Here we have one such video where an actress is seen gifting her dad a Mahindra Thar Roxx worth Rs 30 lakh.

The images have been posted by Neena Madhu on her Instagram page. In this post, we see her at a Mahindra dealership along with her parents to take delivery of a brand-new Mahindra Thar Roxx. The image has been posted with a caption: “My father has given us everything without ever asking for anything in return. This is just a small token of my love and gratitude for the silent strength behind our smiles - my heartfelt tribute to my Achachi.”

Neena Madhu is an actress, producer, and entrepreneur from South India. As per the post, the actress has gifted her father the top-end AX7L diesel AT 4x4 variant of the Roxx with Mocha Brown interiors. This means she bought the absolute top-end variant, which is easily worth Rs 30 lakh on-road.

The Mahindra Thar is a popular SUV among buyers in India as it offers a butch and rugged look that many customers are attracted to. It is also one of the most affordable 4x4 SUVs money can buy in India.

However, the main issue with the Mahindra Thar was that it was not practical as a daily driver. Mahindra received this feedback from customers and decided to work on a new and more practical version of the Thar. That is how the Thar Roxx was launched.

It is a 5-door version, or the more practical version, of the Thar. Not only is it practical, but it is also feature-loaded. It even gets premium features like Level 2 ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, a Harman Kardon sound system, an electric parking brake, dual-zone climate control, leatherette upholstery, ventilated seats, an electrically adjustable driver seat, and so on.

Coming to the engine options, Mahindra, as usual, offers the SUV with both petrol and diesel engines. The petrol version uses a 2.0-litre mStallion series turbocharged engine that generates 174 Bhp and 380 Nm of peak torque.

The diesel version is powered by a 2.2-litre mHawk turbocharged engine that generates 172 Bhp and 370 Nm of peak torque. Both petrol and diesel engine options are available with manual and automatic transmission options. Unlike the Mahindra Thar, the Thar Roxx doesn’t get 4x4 as a standard feature. It is available as an optional extra, which means it is only offered with a few variants, and those only with the diesel engine.

Prices for a brand-new Mahindra Thar Roxx start at Rs 12.99 lakh, ex-showroom, and go all the way up to Rs 23.39 lakh, ex-showroom. Tamil actors Suriya and his brother Karthi also gifted Premkumar, who directed the movie Meiyazhagan, a brand-new Mahindra Thar Roxx.
