Artificial Intelligence (AI) is going wild these days. With more image and video generation models rolling out, creators are taking things to all-new levels. Today, it is possible to generate images and videos with such realism that it would be tough to identify them as ‘generated’. Automotive enthusiasts actively use AI these days, to generate images and videos of upcoming models and launches. Mahindra gathered a lot of attention with the Vision S concept showcased at their Freedom_NU event. Now, a creator has shared an AI-generated video online that shows the concept in action.

Mahindra Vision S In Action: Video

The clip opens by showing the Vision S SUV in a studio setup. Later, we see it rolling through a scenic road. We get to see the front, side, and rear designs in detail. We can see its upright proportions, short overhangs, and tailgate-mounted sparewheel in the video. Later, we see it driving through a rocky road, somewhere in the woods. It is also seen driving through snowy patches and slush.

The SUV even performs jumps on video. The video also shows it driving at night, demonstrating the impact of its lighting signature. It also shows how the design of the Vision S stands close to that of the Land Rover Defender- the boxy proportions, imposing road presence, and clean lines.

Previously, the same channel had shared an AI-generated hyperrealistic TVC of the upcoming Tata Sierra. It had racked up massive viewership online.

More About The Mahindra Vision S Concept

The production-spec Vision.S, as revealed by the company, will be underpinned by the newly developed NU_IQ platform. It will have a five-link rear suspension setup and will use Davinci damper technology. If manufacturer claims are to be believed, this suspension setup will be the best in business at launch. Another interesting technology to be expected on the production-spec Vision S is a ‘variable pitch steering wheel’.

The production form of this concept will likely be the new-generation Bolero. Mahindra is in fact, conducting road trials of this SUV now.

The concept has a bulky, boxy shape with numerous bold straight lines. The wheelbase stands at 2665 mm. The front fascia looks modern and has LED headlamps, DRLs, and Mahindra’s Twin-peaks logo. The fog lamps will feature a pixel-like design. The vehicle will come equipped with level 2 ADAS. Therefore, you will find radars and sensors integrated into the front fascia.

The concept also had roof-mounted lights, rugged bumpers, plastic claddings, limb risers on the bonnet, stylish wheels, flush door handles, and bulky wheel arches. It remains to be seen how many of these would make it to the production model. What we do know is that the camera units functioning as side-view mirrors on the concept will be replaced with regular mirrors on the production version.

Mahindra did not reveal the interior design or feature list of the Vision S at Freedom_NU. Pictures of these surfaced later, revealing key details of the Vision S’ cabin. It has two large 12-inch screens inside- one functioning as the infotainment display and the other doing instrumentation duties. These are separated by a vertically oriented air-con vent. The design has a strong focus on ensuring that everything inside the cabin is intuitive and easy to use. The carmaker has also provided physical buttons for all essential functions.

The gear lever is a traditionally styled unit, wrapped in leather. Two handles lined with brushed silver can be seen on the center console as well.Features like electronic parking brake, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and more can be expected on the series production version.
