Akash Ambani Driving Ferrari Purosangue SUV – But Was He Wearing Seatbelt? [Video]

The Ambani family, on most occasions, are seen being driven around in their Rolls-Royces, armoured Mercedes S-Classes, and Range Rovers. However, on rare occasions, some family members, like Akash Ambani and his father Mukesh Ambani, are seen driving their cars as well. Most recently, Akash was seen driving his Rs 10 crore Ferrari Purosangue SUV. However, it was also noted by the Instagram account that he was not wearing his seatbelt.

This video, showing Akash Ambani behind the steering wheel of his Ferrari Purosangue, has been shared on Instagram by Car Journey99 on their channel. It starts off with the security convoy of Akash Ambani coming towards the camera. The first vehicle in this convoy is a Land Rover Discovery 4, which was being followed by an MG Gloster with police authorities inside.

Following this, we can see the Rs 10 crore Ferrari Purosangue SUV, which was being driven by Akash Ambani himself. It looks like he was not wearing the seatbelt. However, its quite dark in the video and we can’t be very sure about this.

Ambani family has two Ferrari Purosangues

Now, coming to the Ferrari Purosangue SUV seen in the video, it is one of two Purosangues owned by the family. The first one was spotted in Jamnagar while dropping off Shahrukh Khan. Meanwhile, the other one, which we can see Akash Ambani driving, was delivered recently.

Both of these SUVs are finished in the classy and iconic shade of Rosso Portofino and cost over Rs 10 crore. They also come powered by a massive 6.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 725 PS and 716 Nm of peak torque. The Ferrari Purosangue was launched in the market to rival the likes of the Lamborghini Urus and Aston Martin DBX.

Akash Ambani driving Rolls-Royce

This is not the first time that Akash Ambani has been seen behind the steering wheel of one of his cars. Just a few weeks ago, a video became viral on the internet in which he was seen driving his Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe. He was accompanied by his wife, Shloka Mehta, and his sister, Isha Ambani.

The Phantom Drophead Coupe in the video is one of the rarest variants of the Phantom. It is finished in the classy shade of white and gets white-walled tyres with chrome wheels and a white interior. This convertible is powered by a 6.8-litre V12 turbocharged petrol engine that produces 460 bhp and 720 Nm of torque.

Mukesh Ambani drives his armoured Mercedes S-Class

Apart from Akash Ambani, recently his father Mukesh Ambani was also seen driving one of his cars. In a viral video, Mukesh Ambani was seen behind the steering wheel of his armoured Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan. He was accompanied by Isha Ambani, who was sitting in the front passenger seat.

Both Isha and Mukesh Ambani were seen wearing seatbelts. As for the car, as stated, it is the armoured Mercedes-Benz S680 Guard. This particular car comes with VPAM VR10 certification. It is not only bulletproof but also resistant to explosive charges.

It also features bullet- and blast-proof glass with multi-layer construction and a polycarbonate layer for splinter protection. This sedan is powered by a massive 6.0-litre V12 engine. This motor generates 612 bhp and a staggering 830 Nm of torque. This 4.2-ton behemoth sedan also gets all-wheel drive.
