Brave Taxi Driver Saves Girl From Jumping Off Mumbai Bridge (VIDEO)
Sometimes, when people fall into deep depression or face serious troubles, they consider taking their life by suicide. However, this should not be an option for anyone, as every problem can be solved with time and patience. In most cases, people who commit suicide die, but in some cases, due to the alertness of others, their lives are saved. Recently, sharing one such incident of a girl’s life being saved by a taxi driver and first responders, a video has been shared online.
This video of an alert taxi driver saving the life of a girl who was about to jump off a bridge has been shared on Reddit. The video, which appears to be from Mumbai, starts with a man having a conversation with a girl who was standing on the ledge of the bridge. Whether this car was traveling in the cab or was present on the bridge beforehand is unknown.
However, what we can see from the video is that she first threw her footwear in the water. After this, she notices that a police vehicle is coming and stopping in front of the taxi. Just after this, she turns around and jumps off the bridge.
Taxi driver’s alertness saved her life
Now, the miraculous part about this video is that as soon as the girl jumped off the bridge, the taxi driver managed to grab her by her hair. This alert reaction from the man helped him prevent the girl from going down. After taking note of the situation, the police officers immediately rushed and started climbing the bridge.
The first officer put out his hand, and then the other two officers started climbing the bridge to get a better grip on the girl. The first police officer then went to the other side and retook a position to safely pull the girl up.
The video then shows that, with a lot of effort, they managed to bring the girl back on the road. After this, the taxi driver quickly reversed his cab, and the police officers made the girl stand against it to rest.
Alert people save the day
This is not the first time that the alertness of people on the road has helped save someone’s life. Earlier this year, a video was shared online in which a number of alert passersby saved the life of an unconscious man who was trapped inside a Tata Nexon.
