Mukesh Ambani's Brand New, Rs 150 Crore Airbus H160 Helicopter Is Here: Images

Generally, when we think of helicopters, we think of them flying in open skies, right? Well, if you are as rich as the Ambanis, you take your helicopter on public roads as well. Recently, a few images have gone viral on the internet because they show one of the Ambani family's brand new helicopters - an Airbus H160 worth Rs 150 crore, being transported on a trailer. Also, just like the family members when they travel on the road, this helicopter was also surrounded by security guards in a number of cars.
These images, showing one of the Ambani family's helicopters on public roads, have been shared on Instagram by Automobili Ardent on their page. The post, captioned, “Yo forget the Wraith, these guys out here transporting a whole helicopter on a flatbed,” shows a white Airbus H160 helicopter with the Reliance Industries logo being transported.
One of the images shows the vehicle on the road to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Domestic Terminal T1B. Meanwhile, another image shows this helicopter on the side of a road, surrounded by security personnel and staff recruited for the transportation. We can note that the rear rotor and the front cabin of this helicopter were covered. Also, the blades were removed and the top was covered.
Some people have guessed that this might be a new helicopter which is being delivered to the Ambani family. However, in reality, this is an older helicopter which was bought by Reliance Industries a couple of years ago. Most likely, this helicopter was being serviced and then transported back to the airport, where it will get reassembled. Or the location of this helicopter is being changed from one airport to another.
The helicopter seen in the images is one of many aircraft and helicopters owned by Reliance Industries, owned by the Mukesh Ambani family. As for details of this particular helicopter, it is the Airbus H160, which is priced upwards of Rs 150 crore. It comes equipped with two Safran Arrano 1A turboshaft engines, each producing about 1,300 Bhp.
It can cruise at a speed of 255 kmph, and it has a range of 890 km with standard fuel tanks. The Airbus H160 also has an endurance of 4 hours and 30 minutes. As for the seating capacity, it can accommodate one or two pilots along with 12 passengers in standard configuration. When it comes to helicopters, it is one of the most sophisticated helicopters in the market.
Back in September of last year, the Ambani family took delivery of India's most expensive private jet, a Rs 1000 crore Boeing 737 MAX 9. Reliance Industries currently owns a fleet of 10 private jets. The list includes an Airbus A319 ACJ, which has been in service for over 18 years. Apart from this, the company also owns not one, but two Bombardier Global 5000s.
Reliance Industries also owns a Bombardier Global 6000, two Dassault Falcon 900s, an Embraer ERJ-135, which has been in service for over 16 years, and a few helicopters. The list of helicopters includes a Dauphin and a Sikorsky S76, used for short-distance travel, particularly between the company’s offices and sites.
