When we talk about billionaire Indian businessmen, Ambani is the name that most people recognize and relate with. Everyone knows that India’s richest family leads a lavish lifestyle and has a large collection of expensive and exotic cars. They keep adding new cars to their collection, and some of them are often spotted on the road as well. We have now come across a new post on social media where Ambani’s Rolls-Royce Wraith is spotted on a flatbed.

The image has been posted by Automobili Ardent India on their Instagram page. In this post, we see an orange-coloured Rolls-Royce Wraith on a flatbed. It looks like the car was probably getting delivered back to Antilia after a service.

The image has been posted online with a caption, “The Ambanis getting their morning vitamin C shot delivered.” We are assuming that the tangerine-like shade of the car is what triggered the person behind this post to come up with an interesting caption like this.

We noticed that many users were confused and were not sure about what car this was. This is actually a Rolls-Royce Wraith, and it was introduced in the Indian market back in 2013. It is not available in the market anymore, as it has been officially discontinued by the manufacturer.

The Rolls-Royce Wraith, as seen in the image here, is a 2-door luxury sports coupe. Unlike the regular Rolls-Royce cars where the focus is majorly on comfort, the Wraith is slightly different. It offered power and performance without compromising on the comfort factor.

It is based on the chassis of the Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan, which is also shared with the Rolls-Royce Dawn convertible. Both these models are already present in the Jio garage.

Just like most Rolls-Royce models, the Wraith also had a Black Badge version on offer, but we haven’t spotted any of them in India yet. The one in the Jio garage is probably the regular version. The price for a standard Wraith, when it was available for sale, was over ₹6 crore (ex-showroom).

The exact cost of this car is not known, as the Ambanis would have opted for several customisations, and that would have increased the price of the car. It was a sporty-looking coupe, and under the hood, the Wraith was powered by a powerful 6.6-liter V12 twin-turbo petrol engine that generated around 625 PS of power and 800 Nm of peak torque.

This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. What sets the Wraith apart is its state-of-the-art gearbox system with embedded GPS. This system uses real-time road data to predict and select the optimal gear, ensuring seamless gear changes. The Wraith’s performance is equally impressive, reaching 0–100 kmph in just 4.6 seconds.

As per the post, the car was bought by the Ambanis a long time ago and was stationed in Jamnagar. It was rarely spotted in Mumbai, and that is probably what made this sighting special. Apart from the Wraith, the Ambanis have a large collection of Rolls-Royce Ghosts, Phantoms, and Cullinans. In fact, they probably have the highest number of Cullinans in the country - or even in Asia.
