Mahindra SUVs Used By Anand Mahindra: Invader To Scorpio-N

Anand Mahindra is one of those businessmen who is very active on social media. He often promotes his own brand and shares videos where Mahindra cars are seen doing stunts or recoveries. He is not just a person or businessman who simply promotes his own brand online and uses vehicles from other brands. He owns almost all Mahindra cars, and here we have a list of Mahindra SUVs that Anand Mahindra owns.
The Bolero Invader is slowly vanishing from the roads of India. It was one of the oldest models from Mahindra. The SUV has a decent fan following too. Anand Mahindra got this SUV when he was young. It was essentially a Bolero with different body styling. The partial soft top and side-facing rear seats gave it character. It was powered by a 2.5-litre engine that generated a maximum power of 63 Bhp and 117 Nm of peak torque.
The TUV300 was launched in the market with high hopes. Sadly, it didn’t do as well as the brand thought. When it was launched, Anand Mahindra got himself a TUV300 in a customized battle green shade. The SUV had Mahindra’s official customization on it, which gave it a rugged look. It almost looked like a tank and went well with the marketing tagline of the SUV at that time. The TUV300 is not offered in the market anymore. It was later renamed the Bolero Neo and relaunched in the market.
After the TUV300, Mahindra launched the longer version of the SUV in the market as the TUV300 Plus. He named this SUV Grey Ghost. He even complained online that Mahindra had made him wait for a very long time as he had opted for a special steel grey shade for this SUV.
He owns the original Mahindra Scorpio. The first-generation Scorpio in Mr. Mahindra’s garage is the top-end 4×4 version. We all know that the Scorpio is a very popular name in the SUV segment, and that is one of the reasons why Mahindra has not discontinued the previous generation Scorpio and renamed it as the Scorpio Classic.
This was once the flagship SUV from Mahindra in the Indian market. The Alturas G4 was, in fact, a rebadged version of the Ssangyong Rexton, which was once available in the Indian market. The SUV is not available for sale anymore. Mr. Mahindra named it Baaz. The reason the Alturas G4 didn’t sell in good numbers was mostly due to its steep pricing. People were not ready to invest such a significant amount in a Mahindra at that time.
When Mahindra launched the all-new Scorpio-N, Anand Mahindra couldn’t hold himself back and got one for himself. He bought the SUV in a shade of red. Just like many other cars in his garage, he asked his followers online to name his new SUV. Despite the long waiting period, Anand Mahindra took delivery of his new Scorpio-N, and his online followers suggested several names. He chose the name “Bheem,” which is a mythical character from the Mahabharata.
