Anand Mahindra Spotted Driving Thar Roxx In Kerala, Visits Kadamakudy Island

The billionaire chairman of Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra, is a man who has a lot of passion for cars and travel. He shares a lot of his cars and trips on his social media and always appreciates the finer things in life. Recently, Anand Mahindra was seen visiting the famous Kadamakkudy Islands in a Mahindra Thar ROXX. He has shared a few clips of him driving the Thar ROXX and showing the mesmerizing scenes.

Anand Mahindra driving Thar ROXX in Kerala

The images and videos of Anand Mahindra’s recent trip to Kadamakkudy Islands have been shared on X by the billionaire. In the first short clip, we can note that Anand Mahindra was behind the steering wheel of a Battleship grey-colored Mahindra Thar ROXX. He gently takes a left turn and stops the vehicle ahead of a small street vendor.

In the next couple of images and videos, Anand Mahindra showcases the enchanting beauty of Kadamakkudy Islands. We can note a black cormorant and a white egret standing on submerged logs, spreading their wings. Mahindra, in the caption of his post, stated, “Some landscapes don’t just impress; they recalibrate you. (And I drove my Thar responsibly and carefully…!)”

Why did Anand Mahindra go to Kadamakkudy Islands?

This particular post in which Anand Mahindra drove the Thar ROXX to the Kadamakkudy Islands was shared with a quoted tweet from him from July this year. At the time, Anand Mahindra shared a short clip in which the beautiful island suburb outside of Kochi, Kerala, was shown. At the time, he highlighted that Kadamakkudy in Kerala is often listed amongst the most beautiful villages on earth.

He then added that in December he is scheduled to be in Kochi, and during that time he will be visiting Kadamakkudy as it is in his bucket list and also it is only half an hour away from Kochi. As a result of this tweet, in the most recent tweet, Anand Mahindra shared the follow-up. He stated that he has lived up to the promise he made to himself and drove to the island suburb in a Mahindra Thar ROXX.

Anand Mahindra only drives Mahindra SUVs

Ever since he joined the Mahindra Group in 1981, starting at the Mahindra Ugine Steel Company (MUSCO) as an Executive Assistant to the Finance Director, he has been using only Mahindra SUVs as his personal choice of wheels. He started driving his mother’s soft-top Mahindra CJ3 UV, following which he then switched to an Armada.

Currently, he gets driven around in a red-colored Mahindra Scorpio-N. Prior to this, he used a Mahindra TUV300 Plus, Mahindra Alturas G4, Bolero Invader, old-generation Scorpio 4X4, and many others. Most recently, he was also seen leaving Nita Ambani’s new Swadesh Store in his wife's Mahindra XUV700.

Anand Mahindra recently also shared a tweet on X in which he revealed what his next SUV will be from the Mahindra brand. This time around, the billionaire chairman will be taking his first electric SUV from the company, and it will be none other than the newly launched Mahindra XEV 9S seven-seater EV. He asked Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director & CEO, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., to book a Mahindra XEV 9S electric seven-seater SUV for himself.
