Rare Footage: Anand Mahindra Spotted In His Mahindra XUV700
Most of the billionaires that we see are always seen getting chauffeured around in ultra-expensive and exclusive luxury cars. However, the chairperson of Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra, is always seen getting driven around in SUVs made by his brand. Recently, at the launch event of Nita Ambani's Swadesh Store, Anand Mahindra and his wife were leaving the event in a Mahindra XUV700.
The video showing Anand Mahindra and his wife in a Mahindra XUV700 has been shared on YouTube by CS12 Vlogs on their channel. In this short clip, we can note that the couple was waiting outside at the main entrance for their vehicle to arrive, soon after which a silver-colored Mahindra XUV700 arrived, and both of them sat inside and left the place.
This XUV700 is owned by Anand Mahindra’s wife
The Mahindra XUV700 seen in the video above is actually not owned by Anand Mahindra. Rather, it is owned by his wife, Anuradha Mahindra. This particular SUV was ordered by Anand Mahindra after the official launch of this model back in 2022. At the time, Mahindra Automotive received an overwhelming number of bookings for the XUV700.
As a result of this, Anand Mahindra at the time tweeted, “Since that makes the XUV7OO the Choice Of Champions, we will have to work extra hard to get it to you ASAP. @vijaynakra I hope you see this! (By the way, I’ve ordered one for my wife & I’m still in Q!) Sadly, the global supply chain disruptions are plaguing all car companies.”
Anand Mahindra and his next car
Recently, Anand Mahindra has also revealed what his next car will be. Just a few days ago, the billionaire Mahindra Group chairperson tweeted, tagging Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director & CEO, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., about booking a Mahindra XEV 9S electric seven-seater SUV for himself. He also specified that he wants to get the Stealth Black color of this SUV.
The Mahindra XEV 9S starts at Rs 19.95 lakh and goes up to Rs 29.45 lakh. Most likely, Anand Mahindra will be getting the top-of-the-line variant of this SUV. In terms of the powertrain options, Mahindra is offering the XEV 9S with three battery packs and three states of power.
The first is the base 59 kWh battery pack, which will offer a range of 521 km and 231 bhp; then there will be the 70 kWh battery pack with 600 km range and 245 bhp. Lastly, there will be a 79 kWh battery pack, which offers a range of 679 km and will make 286 bhp.

Currently, Anand Mahindra personally uses a red Scorpio-N as his choice of SUV to perform daily driver duties. The SUV boasts his signature number plate “1555” and has been named “Bheem” by him. He owns the Z8L variant of the Scorpio-N.
Mahindra TUV300 Plus
Before the Scorpio-N, he used to get driven around in his Mahindra TUV300 Plus finished in a grey color. He named it the “Grey Ghost,” and it also has the same “1555” registration number. Currently, this vehicle is used as his convoy vehicle and is driven behind his Scorpio-N.
Mahindra Alturas G4
Anand Mahindra also owns a Mahindra Alturas G4 full-size premium SUV in his collection as well. This particular SUV was named “Baaz.”
Mahindra Scorpio
Apart from the latest-generation Scorpio-N, Anand Mahindra for a long time used a black Mahindra Scorpio 4X4 as well. Other notable Mahindra SUVs in his collection include Mahindra TUV, Bolero Invader, and a few others.
