Anant Ambani Spotted Driving Bentley Continental GTC Speed - His Engagement Gift - For The First Time [Video]
The Ambani family and their expensive car collection have been a talking point on our website several times. They often add new cars, and these cars are spotted on the road too. Due to security reasons, they always have a convoy of security vehicles around them. One such car that Anant Ambani was given as an engagement gift was a Bentley Continental GTC Speed. We now have a video where Anant is seen driving the car in Mumbai for the first time.
The video has been shared by CS12 Vlogs on his YouTube channel. In this video, we see Ambani’s convoy at a traffic signal at night. The roads look empty, and we feel Anant Ambani took the car out intentionally during this time to avoid unnecessary attention from the public.
As the lights turn green, we start seeing the convoy move. Initially, it looked like there were other road users at the traffic signal, but as the cars started moving, you realise that all the vehicles at the signal were part of the convoy.
We see the G-Wagen in the front. Behind the G-Wagen, we see the Bentley. The GTC Speed is a convertible, and we see Anant Ambani driving the car with the roof down. We are not sure who else is there with Anant Ambani in the car, as it passes by at high speed.
Behind the Bentley, we have other cars from the security convoy, along with a Rolls-Royce Cullinan. The security convoy included cars like the Mahindra Scorpio, the previous-generation Range Rover Vogue, Mahindra XUV500, Mercedes-Benz V-Class, and MG Gloster.
This is not the first time we have spotted the Bentley Continental GTC Speed from the Jio garage on the road, but this is surely the first time we have seen Anant drive it. The GTC Speed, as mentioned above, was his engagement gift. The car is finished in a beautiful shade of flaming orange. The car was gifted to Anant Ambani by Mukesh Ambani.
The Bentley Continental GTC Speed is a grand tourer with a convertible roof. Just like any Bentley, the GTC Speed is also a luxury car on the inside. The manufacturer offers several customisation options, and from what was visible in the video, it looks like Anant or Mukesh opted for tan or orange-coloured interiors for the car. The interior shade looked similar to what we have on the outside.
The car comes with premium leather upholstery, heated and cooled seats, wooden panel inserts on the doors and dashboard, a touchscreen infotainment system, electrically adjustable seats with massage function, a premium speaker system, electronic limited-slip differential, ADAS, and many more safety features.
The Bentley Continental GTC Speed, as the name suggests, is the most powerful Continental GTC ever built. It is powered by a 6.0-litre W12 engine that produces 659 PS and 900 Nm of peak torque.
The engine is mated to an automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels. This convertible grand tourer can do 0–100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds. The roof of the car can be operated while in motion, provided the car’s speed does not exceed 50 km/h
