Car Enthusiast CEO Of Angel Broking Buys Mclaren 750S Worth Rs 6 Crore: Delivery Video And Pictures
When it comes to one of the most expensive yet tasteful car collections, the name of Dinesh Thakkar easily comes on top of the list. For those who may not be aware, he is the chairman and MD of Angel Broking, one of the largest stock broking companies in India. He owns several high-end supercars, and most recently, he has added another unique and expensive supercar to his collection. He has bought himself a brand-new Rs 6 crore McLaren 750S Spider.
The images of this beautiful McLaren 750S Spider and the delivery of it have been shared on Instagram by Dinesh Thakkar himself. In the images, the billionaire stockbroker can be seen pulling off the covers of his newest supercar. The delivery event was organised by McLaren, and he was seen taking the delivery of his 750S Spider with his entire family. His parents, wife, and sons were all present at the time of delivery.

As can be noted from the images, Dinesh Thakkar has chosen a very classy shade of Monaco White for his supercar. What’s even more special about his McLaren 750S Spider is that it is the McLaren’s 60th Anniversary Edition. It has been created by the British supercar manufacturer to celebrate its triple crown victories of the years 1974, 1984, and 1995.
McLaren Automotive is only making 60 of these 750S Spider Anniversary Editions. It gets a special livery with unique orange and green stripes representing Indian flag, “one of 60” badging with the McLaren Kiwi on the door sills, wing mirrors, and a black and tan leather and Alcantara interior.
The McLaren 750S Spider 60th Anniversary Edition comes equipped with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo petrol engine, which makes 740 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by a 7-speed DCT gearbox. This supercar can hit the speed of 100 kmph from a standstill in just 2.8 seconds, which is mighty impressive as all of the 740 horses are sent to the rear wheels.

Apart from Dinesh Thakkar, Dr. Shriram Nene also recently bought himself a McLaren 750S supercar. He has chosen the classy shade of powder blue for his Rs 5.9 crore supercar. In addition to the McLaren 750S, Dr. Shriram Nene also owns a Porsche 911 Turbo S and a Porsche 911 GT3 RS from the latest 992 generation. The GT3 RS comes powered by a 4.0-litre high-revving naturally aspirated flat-six producing 525 PS.
Dinesh Thakkar Also Bought a BMW i7 Luxury Sedan
Earlier last year, in January, Dinesh Thakkar also bought himself his first luxury sedan—a BMW i7 electric sedan. His i7 is finished in the dual-tone shade of Carbon Black metallic with a grey color on the top half of the car. This sedan comes equipped with dual electric motors. It makes 544 bhp and 745 Nm of torque. It also gets a 101.7 kWh lithium-ion battery offering a range of 591 to 625 km in the WLTP cycle.
