Angel Broking CEO Adds Mercedes Benz GLE 53 AMG To Family's Exotic Car Garage
Dinesh Thakkar, CEO of Indian stockbroker firm Angel One, formerly known as Angel Broking Ltd is actually a car enthusiast. In the last couple of years, we have come across several videos of him buying new cars in the past. 2025 is no different and Dinesh has already bought a new car. The businessman has now bought a GLE 53 AMG SUV worth Rs 1.88 crore.
The images of the new car have been shared by Dinesh Thakkar on his Facebook page. He mentions that the car seen here in the post is actually not his but his son’s. His son Vijay Thakkar added this new car to his collection. We have seen him in previous posts where Dinesh is seen taking delivery of his other cars.
In this particular post, we see Dinesh, his wife, son Vijay and daughter-in-law at the dealership. They have come to the dealership to take the delivery of their new SUV. Vijay Thakkar has gone for a GLE 53 AMG coupe SUV. We see the family unveiling the car and then celebrating the occasion.
GLE 53 AMG
Mercedes-Benz launched the facelifted version of GLE 53 AMG in the market last year. The facelifted version is not too different from the older version. It comes with slightly redesigned headlamps, tail lights and bumper. The interior of the car also gets minor like the part-leather part-Alcantara steering wheel.
The GLE 53 AMG comes with premium features like HUD, electrically adjustable seats with memory function, heated and ventilated front seats. Features like nine airbags, blind spot assist, 360-degree cameras, a 'transparent bonnet', and many more are offered as standard.
The SUV also comes with optional extras like AMG Track Pace (for your track days) software, the Acoustic Comfort Package that improves sound insulation among other things, and AMG's high performance braking system.
Coming to the engine and transmission, Mercedes Benz GLE 53 AMG is powered by a 3.0 litre, turbocharged petrol engine that generates 435 Bhp and 520 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission and the power is sent to all 4 wheels. Price for a GLE 53 AMG starts at Rs 1.88 crore, ex-showroom.
