Angry Youth Dumps BMW In River After Parents Gift Him BMW Instead Of Jaguar

It is not every day that you get the right gift(s). What happens if you receive the wrong one? An angry young man from Haryana once dumped a BMW sedan in a river! His parents gifted him a BMW sedan (a White 3 series) when he wanted a Jaguar- probably an XE. The youth, reportedly from Yamuna Nagar, was unhappy with the gift. The occasion for gifting remains unknown.

After dumping the BMW in the river, he even filmed it sinking. The incident happened at a time when it was raining in Haryana. The river was swollen and had huge amounts of water in it. The car was soon swept away. The video was later shared on social media and soon went viral.

Both the Jaguar and BMW sedans in question, cost around 50 lakh rupees. There is no visible reason for the youth to get unhappy, as both vehicles offer comparable levels of comfort, style and performance. It should have been a very personal preference.

So how did the guy do this? Well, he parked the BMW near the river, got out of the car, and pushed it into the water body. While the car sank, he captured the commotion on camera. Sharing this clip online was his way of expressing his anger and disappointment.

The twist here was that the vehicle was not swept away completely. After some time, it got stuck on a nearby island, which was not something he was expecting. He then sought help from the locals and tried to recover the BMW. A video of this had also surfaced.

The exact identity of the young man was not known at the time of the incident, as the cops refused to release data on the same. Reports say him to be from Yamuna Nagar itself. The cops, however, booked him in no time, but further details of the arrest or events that followed are not known.

Also unknown is if and what charges have been imposed on him. Reports say that the father of the accused is a landlord in Haryana, and the identity of whom was not disclosed. If or not the car was recovered by the administration also remains unclear.
