Director Anurag Kashyap Buys Bollywood's 1st Mahindra XEV 9E Electric SUV In Stealth Black
Mahindra has finally commenced the deliveries of its most futuristic electric SUVs, the XEV 9E and BE 6, in India. So far, a number of these SUVs have been delivered across the country, and there are a few notable people and celebrities as well who have taken deliveries. Of these, one celebrity is the popular Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap.
Anurag Kashyap buys Mahindra XEV 9E
Recently, a post showing him taking delivery of his new Mahindra XEV 9E has been shared on Instagram by Mahindra Modi on their page. In the images, the Bollywood director can be seen posing with his new XEV 9E electric SUV. It can be noted that he has chosen this SUV in the classy shade of Stealth Black.
Anurag Kashyap, in the post, was seen sitting at the Mahindra dealership’s lounge with the staff. He was then seen getting handed over the key to his new XEV 9E. Also, the dealership handed over a bouquet, a gift hamper, and a picture frame with a collage of Anurag Kashyap. In the images, the Bollywood director can be seen being very excited about his new electric SUV.
Mahindra XEV 9E
The Mahindra XEV 9E is the coupe electric SUV from the brand. It starts at Rs 21.90 lakh for the base Pack One variant. Next up in the lineup are the Pack Two and the Pack Three Select variants, priced at Rs 24.90 lakh and Rs 27.90 lakh, respectively. Lastly, the Pack Three variant, which comes with the larger 79 kWh battery pack, is priced at Rs 30.50 lakh. Anurag Kashyap most likely has chosen this variant.
Powering the XEV 9E is an electric motor, which in the lower variants generates 228 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, in the higher variants, it makes 282 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. As for battery packs, it is offered with a 59 kWh and a 79 kWh battery pack. The smaller battery pack offers a range of 542 km, and the larger one offers 656 km.
Other notable people who have bought Mahindra EV SUVs
Apart from Anurag Kashyap, recently, former Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra & Mahindra, Pawan Kumar Goenka, has also bought himself a brand-new XEV 9E. He has chosen the unique shade of Desert Myst for his electric SUV. He was handed over the keys to his Mahindra XEV 9E, and his family was also present at the time.
Recently, Milind Deora, Member of Parliament from South Bombay, also announced that he has ordered a Mahindra BE 6 electric SUV. He did not reveal the exact details of the variant chosen by him. However, he most likely has also opted for the top-of-the-line Pack Three variant of this SUV. The BE 6 electric SUV also comes with the same electric powertrain as the XEV 9E.
In addition to these notable people, the billionaire business tycoon Vijay Shekhar Sharma, who is the CEO and founder of One77 Communication, the company that owns Paytm, announced that he has also reserved an XEV 9E. He shared a screenshot of his booking confirmation. The Paytm founder has chosen the Pack Three variant of this SUV, finished in the shade of Deep Forest Green.
Apart from these people, celebrities like Bollywood actor John Abraham, music director AR Rahman, Union Ministers HD Kumaraswamy and Nitin Gadkari have also experienced the BE 6 and XEV 9E electric SUVs. Also, the Prince of Udaipur, Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, has also experienced these SUVs.
