We all know how hectic the life of a professional living in a metro city can be. After completing their shift, people often have to face long traffic jams on the road, and by the time they reach home, most of them are exhausted. Some are even forced to work after their official working hours. They are often asked to attend meetings while commuting. Here, we have one such video from Bengaluru where a woman is seen working on a laptop while driving a Maruti Baleno through a busy city road.

The video has been shared by the DCP of Traffic North, Bengaluru, on her X profile. The video and an image of the woman driving the car were attached to the post. In the video, recorded by someone passing through the same road as the woman, we see a white-colored Maruti Baleno hatchback being driven inside the city.

The woman driving the car has a laptop in front of her and is working on it. She was probably asked to complete a task, which, we assume, forced her to take the laptop out. Ideally, the driver should have stopped the car on the roadside, finished her work, and then continued driving. Instead, she continued driving through the busy road with her laptop screen on.

This is not the first time we have seen something like this in Bengaluru. In the past, we have seen pillion riders on scooters finishing their office work while traveling home. We have even seen pictures of people cutting vegetables and preparing for dinner while stuck in traffic. While these acts were mostly harmless, the current incident is not.

The woman driving the car is seen using the laptop, and the bright light from the screen can often be a distraction. She is easily distracted and could crash into another vehicle or person.

Thankfully, nothing like that happened. However, things would have been different if she had crashed the car. Due to her careless driving, an innocent road user could have become a victim.

The video of the woman driving the car went viral on the internet, and the Bengaluru traffic police also came across it. Without wasting time, they traced the owner and took action. They issued a challan against the driver for reckless driving. The social media post also included an image of the driver with the cops.

People are losing their work-life balance, and that is not a good thing. We are sure people like S.N. Subrahmanyan, Chairman of L&T, and former Infosys chairman Narayana Murthy would be happy to see this video, as this is something they have been advocating. Both of them have spoken about making people work for more hours to generate more profit for their firms.

If you are traveling from the office to home and something urgent comes up, it is always a good idea to ask for time and look for a convenient moment. If you have no other choice but to get the work done, then stop the vehicle on the roadside, finish the work, and then continue your journey to avoid any accidents.
