Recently, a video has gone viral on the internet in which Bigg Boss 18 fame television actress Chahat Pandey gifted her mother a brand-new Kia Carens MPV. In this video, she is seen getting a grand welcome from the dealership and then taking delivery of her mother’s new Carens.

The video of Bigg Boss 18 fame TV actress Chahat Pandey gifting her mother a new car has been shared on Instagram via her official account. In this short video, it can be noted that she was picked up from her location in a convoy of Kia cars. These included two Kia Seltos, a Sonet, and a Carens. Additionally, there are a few other cars in the video, like a Toyota Fortuner, Maruti Suzuki Dzire, and others.
Chahat Pandey, along with her mother, was seen sitting in a Kia Carens belonging to the dealership. Following this, the actress then reaches the showroom with her family and friends. She is given a grand welcome at the dealership, where a person was holding a Kia-branded umbrella for the actress. After this, before entering the main door, she was welcomed by the dealership staff with a “tika” on her head.
Next up, the actress cuts a red ribbon to enter the dealership, and she then lights a bronze oil lamp. She then cuts a massive cake with a picture of the Kia Carens on it, and after sharing it with her mother, she unveils the gifted Kia Carens to her mother. Finally, she is seen performing the Hindu rituals, and then the actress gets handed the keys to this car, which she then hands over to her mother.

The Kia Carens is one of the most popular 7-seater premium MPVs available in the country. It starts at a price of ₹12.24 lakh for the base variant and goes up to ₹23.75 lakh for the top-of-the-line variant. In total, the South Korean automaker offers this MPV in 33 variants. It comes with three engine options. The exact engine option chosen by the actress for her mother is unknown.
These include a 115 bhp, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. Then there is a 160 bhp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor, and lastly, a 116 bhp, 1.5-litre diesel engine. Kia also offers the Carens with multiple transmission options, ranging from a manual gearbox to a torque converter automatic, an iMT gearbox, and a dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Kia Carens Facelift and EV Coming
In order to spice up the Kia Carens lineup, the company is working on the development of the Kia Carens facelift. The new model will get a revised exterior and a renewed interior. It will also come equipped with new features such as Level 2 ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and more.
Apart from the facelifted version, Kia will also be launching the electric version of the Carens MPV. It is expected to be offered with 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh battery pack options, powering the front wheels. The Carens EV will also offer premium features similar to its ICE counterpart.
