This video, showing the billionaire Raymond Group MD driving an auto-rickshaw, has been shared on Instagram by Omkar 9400 on their page. In this short clip, we can note that there is a white and red dual-tone auto-rickshaw parked outside a building. It was surrounded by a number of people, including a lot of security personnel. Soon after this, a silver Mahindra Scorpio and a Toyota Innova Crysta with security guards come into the frame.

Following this, we can note that the same auto-rickshaw arrives, and in the driver’s seat of this auto-rickshaw was none other than Gautam Singhania. There were two other people in this auto-rickshaw who were sitting in the rear seat. It can then be seen that after this auto-rickshaw reaches the main gate of a building, a woman runs up and sits on the rear seat. Singhania then drives the auto-rickshaw into the building.

For those who may not be aware, this particular auto-rickshaw is owned by Raymond Group. It was bought by Gautam Singhania back in 2016. To give this auto-rickshaw a unique touch, the billionaire has got it painted in this unique dual-tone shade of candy red and white. Also, the seats of this auto-rickshaw have been finished in white as well.

Why was Gautam Singhania driving an auto-rickshaw?

Gautam Singhania was not driving this auto-rickshaw on public roads to earn a few extra bucks. Rather, he was riding this vehicle just for fun during the Raymond 100 Autofest. This unique supercar fest was organized by Raymond Group and Supercar Club Garage in Thane, Mumbai.

Over 500 cars, including rare Ferraris like 488 Pistas, 812 Competizione, Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae Roadster, SVJ, numerous JDM (Japanese domestic market) supercars, and others were present. Also, F1 legend and two-time world champion Mika Häkkinen, former Indian cricketer Shastri, F1 racer Narain Karthikeyan, and others were present as well.

Gautam Singhania’s drift event

At the same event, Gautam Singhania showcased his personal car collection and his drifting skills as well. For those who may not know, Gautam Singhania has a deep-rooted love for drifting and has participated in various drifting championships as well. He has even won the amateur section of the Allstars European Drifting Championship in Malta. This helped him earn an international pro drift license and become India’s first professional drifter.

At the event, he brought his various drift cars, including a BMW M3, Nissan Silvia, and his beloved Ford Mustang Mach-1. This particular yellow muscle car has been given a massive supercharger, which sticks out of the bonnet. His Mach-1 makes a mind-boggling 1300 bhp, and he uses all of this power to perform insane drifts and burnouts.
