Uncontrolled Speeding BMW Hits 2 Cars And 1 Bike: Aerial View Shows How Crash Happened
A lot of people abide by traffic rules. They don't speed unnecessarily, they don't jump traffic signals, and they follow all other rules. However, despite this, they get involved in serious accidents due to the fault of other reckless drivers. Recently, a video has gone viral from Hyderabad in which a speeding BMW, being driven by an allegedly drunk man, was seen crashing into two cars and a bike. The result of this crash was that the pillion rider was seriously injured.
Speeding BMW crashes into cars and bike
The images and videos showing the crash from both front and aerial views, as well as the aftermath of the vehicles involved in the horrific crash, have been shared on X by Surya Reddy on their page. What happens in the first clip showing the front view is that a Volkswagen Taigun SUV comes and stops at a traffic signal.
Soon after, a bike with a rider and a woman pillion stops at the same signal on the left side of the Taigun. Following that, while they were waiting at the signal, a black-colored Honda City sedan comes at a very high speed and crashes into the Taigun and then runs over the bike on the left side.
We can then observe that the particular Honda City was hit in the rear, and the main culprit was a dark blue-colored BMW luxury SUV. It can be seen that the Honda City, due to the rear-end impact, drove over the rider and the woman pillion stopped at the signal. In this aerial view of the accident, we can note that the Honda City driver was driving very slowly as he was approaching the traffic signal. However, the clip highlights that the speeding BMW, which was behind the Honda City, first overtook a vehicle on the same road very aggressively, following which the driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to steer it to the left side.
As a result of this, the speeding BMW directly hit the Honda City in the rear, which caused it to crash into the Volkswagen Taigun and the motorcycle. It can be noted that after hitting the Honda City, the BMW also turned around, and the CCTV footage shows its rear end. People around the spot of this accident were rushing towards the injured victims. As for the BMW driver, he can be clearly seen exiting the vehicle along with his friends.
Where did this accident take place?
As per reports, this particular incident took place near My Home Avatar Circle, located in Narsingi on the outskirts of Hyderabad, Telangana. The name of the BMW driver is Abhishek G. Chandra. In the clip, it can be seen that the driver did not flee the scene immediately. However, police reports have mentioned that the driver ran away soon after the crash.
According to the police authorities, they are suspecting a case of drunken and negligent driving. The BMW is registered under the name of Madhavi Mekala, and it already has two pending speeding challans, suggesting that the driver is a habitual reckless driver. The BMW has currently been seized by the authorities. As for the victims, the woman pillion has suffered severe injuries.
