Donuts In A Brand New BMW M2 On Public Road With Traffic On It: Not Cool [Video]

Recently, a video has gone viral on the internet in which a BMW M2 sports car was seen performing donuts on a public road. It was noted that this particular driver did this reckless stunt on a road with traffic just to make a reel to become more popular on social media platforms.
BMW M2 owner performs donuts on public road
This video showing the BMW M2 doing donuts on a public road has been shared on X by Noida Kharabar on their page. As per the post, this incident took place at Noida's VIP Sector 43. It starts off with a BMW M2 finished in the Sao Paulo Yellow color, fitted with an aftermarket rear wing, coming into the frame of the CCTV camera from which this footage was taken.
We can observe that the vehicle first went towards the extreme left side and dropped off its co-passenger, who most likely is the friend of the owner of this BMW M2. After this, the person takes out his smartphone to start recording the video for social media. He can be seen standing in the middle of the left lane to shoot this video.
Soon after this, the BMW M2 turns his vehicle to the right and attempts the donut. Seeing this, the person on the road takes a few steps back and continues recording the video. And after a few failed attempts, the BMW starts performing proper donuts and burning off the tyre rubber. It can be seen that there were people in cars and on bikes who stopped on the road.
A thick white cloud of tyre smoke had formed around the vehicle, and at one point, despite being finished in such a bright color, the BMW M2 was not visible. Soon after this, the driver ended the donut and drove on the wrong side of the road to let his co-passenger sit inside. Till this happened, other people were standing on the road waiting for the vehicle to move and the smoke clouds to pass.
Who is the owner and what is the police doing?
At the moment, there is no information about the owner of this particular BMW M2 sports car. It can be seen that the vehicle has a temporary registration number of “HR 98 RC 004/09.” Under the temporary number plate, the details of the owner can only be found out by the authorities.
A number of netizens online have tagged Noida Traffic Police on this post to ensure that the owner gets punished. As a result, Noida Traffic Police has also commented on the post stating, “The concerned had been directed to investigate and take necessary action.”
This is not cool
As stated above, although we are automotive enthusiasts, we condemn such actions and stunts done on public roads. Owning an expensive high-performance car does not earn a person the right to perform stunts on public roads. Although nothing happened in this video, such stunts can cause major accidents which could also lead to fatality.
BMW M2
As mentioned above, the vehicle seen in the video is a BMW M2. This particular sports car is priced at Rs 1.03 crore. It comes powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six engine. This motor is capable of producing 473 bhp and 600 Nm of torque with the 8-speed automatic gearbox, and 550 Nm with the 6-speed manual transmission.
