Bollywood Actress Karisma Kapoor Buys Rs 1.5 Crore Mercedes Benz GLE 450 4MATIC
The super popular Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor has recently bought herself a brand-new luxury SUV. The “Raja Babu” and “Biwi No.1” fame actress was seen with her brand-new Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 worth Rs 1.5 crore. Prior to this, the actress used to be driven around in a previous-generation Land Rover Discovery Sport.

The video showing Karisma Kapoor with her newly bought Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 has been shared on YouTube by Cars For You. In this short video, the 50-year-old Bollywood actress was seen getting out of the rear door of her SUV. She was also seen losing her balance on a small staircase.
Thankfully, she did not fall and recovered her balance. After this, she came in front of her new SUV and posed for the paparazzi to take a few pictures. After this, she said goodbye and went inside the building.
Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 replaces her Land Rover Discovery Sport
As stated above, the actress has chosen the Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 4MATIC variant of this popular SUV. This is the first time in the last few years that the actress has ditched the British luxury SUV maker Land Rover.
Prior to this, the actress was seen using a Land Rover Discovery Sport finished in white for all her daily driver duties. This SUV was also seen with the same “7774” VIP registration number as her current Mercedes-Benz SUV.
Prior to that, the actress also owned another Land Rover SUV, which was the Freelander 2. What’s also interesting is that the Freelander 2 owned by Karisma Kapoor also had the same “7774” registration number. It seems like this number is her lucky number.
Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 4MATIC
Coming back to her newest SUV, it is finished in the classy shade of Polar White. All her previous SUVs were white as well. This particular variant is the most expensive GLE 450 4MATIC variant, priced at Rs 1.5 crore on-road.
It comes equipped with features such as four-zone climate control, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a similarly sized fully digital instrument cluster, electrically adjustable front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and LED headlamps.
The GLE also comes with hands-free parking, a powered tailgate, leather-wrapped seats, a multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, and a ton of other features. As stated, the actress has chosen the top-of-the-line 450 4MATIC variant, which comes equipped with a 3.0-litre turbo V6 petrol engine that generates 365 PS and 500 Nm of peak torque.
Apart from this engine option, there is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine as well. This motor generates a maximum power of 245 PS and 500 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are handled by a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Lastly, the German luxury carmaker also offers the GLE with a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that generates 435 Bhp and 520 Nm of peak torque. This variant is the AMG variant of the GLE, and it is priced at Rs 1.64 crore, ex-showroom.
