Bollywood Actress Shilpa Shetty’s New Ride Is A Multi-Crore Ferrari Portofino Supercar [Video]

Lately we have been coming across reports of Bollywood celebrities buying new cars and SUVs. Many of them have lately bought Range Rover SUVs and we have featured them on our website too. Not many actresses in Bollywood have a versatile garage as Shilpa Shetty. She’s keeps on updating her garage on a timely manner and it looks like the latest addition to her collection is a multi-crore Ferrari supercar. Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra were spotted at the airport in their Ferrari Portofino.

The video has been shared by Cars For You on Their YouTube channel. In this video we see a Red coloured Ferrari supercar coming towards drop off area at the Mumbai airport. The door of the supercar opens and we see Shilpa Shetty sitting on the co-passenger seat. On the driver seat, we see Raj Kundra. She has a quick conversation with her husband and manages to get out of the car.

The Ferrari Portofino is a low lying supercar and getting and out of it is going to be a task. She gets out of the car and walks towards the entry gate and the video ends there. Coming back to the car, the Ferrari Portofino is not in production anymore. This supercar was replaced by Ferrari Roma.

The car seen here does not look like a brand new one. There are high chances that the celebrity picked up a used one. We are not surprised as Shilpa Shetty has bought used luxury cars in the past. This makes more sense as you would save a lot by buying a well-maintained used supercar.

Luxury and exotic cars like these often depreciate pretty fast and it is always a good idea to check the used car market before heading to a dealership. Coming back to the Ferrari seen here in the video, the Portofino M. It is a hard top convertible sport car from the Italian car manufacturer.

The M stands for Modificata which is how Ferrari designates its models with performance improvements. It is in fact a grand touring sports car that has several new and interesting features too. Ferrari is also offering the full five-position manettino dial which is something that is normally seen in more expensive model. The car also gets optional features like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) and ventilated and heated seats.

Portofino M is powered by a 3.9 litre, twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine. It produces 620 PS of maximum power which is 20 Ps more than the regular version. The engine is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The car can do 0-100 kmph in just 3.45 seconds and can touch 200 kmph mark from standstill in just 9.8 seconds.

Portofino was called the entry level sports car from Ferrari but, that doesn’t mean it is not expensive. A brand new Ferrari Portofino M was priced around Rs 4.04 crore, ex-showroom.

As Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have bought a used car, we are assuming that they have spent less than that. Few years ago, Bollywood actor Ram Kapoor had also bought a Ferrari Portofino. Other than the recently spotted Ferrari, Shilpa Shetty had also bought a brand new current generation Range Rover SUV.
