Bollywood celebrities love to update their garages with expensive cars from time to time. These cars are part of their lifestyle and make a statement wherever they arrive. The priority for most actors and actresses in this case is comfort. During their hectic schedules, they often look for a car that offers a comfortable ride. However, there are others who are enthusiasts and opt for sports and supercars. Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and his wife, actress Alia Bhatt, recently welcomed a brand new Lexus LM luxury MPV worth Rs 2.5 crore.

The video has been shared by Varinder Chawla on his Instagram page. In this video, we see a silver-colored Lexus LM luxury MPV entering their residence. The actors are not seen in the car here. They were probably in the rear seat of the MPV. The Lexus LM 350h seen here in the video is actually the luxury version of the Toyota Vellfire, which is sold in the Indian market.

The LM 350h is currently the flagship MPV from the Japanese car manufacturer. It is in fact the most expensive MPV available on sale in India. The LM 350h is based on the same platform as the Vellfire. In terms of design, it is different from the Vellfire. The LM gets a futuristic-looking design with a large front grille with hexagonal patterns. There are sleek LED headlamps, vertically stacked LED fog lamps on the bumper, LED DRLs, and so on.

Coming to the side profile, the car reveals the large glass area. Just like the Vellfire, there is a kink in the window line. The electrically opening and closing sliding doors are also seen here. At the rear, the MPV gets an all-LED tail lamp that runs across the width of the car. There is Lexus branding and the LM 350h badge on the lower part of the tailgate.

The Lexus LM 350h is a luxury MPV, and the interiors are designed accordingly. Lexus is offering the LM in both 4 and 7-seater configurations. We are not sure which version the actor couple actually bought. The 4-seater version of the Lexus LM gets a partition between the front and rear seats.

It has a dimmable glass panel that can be lowered or raised as per the customer’s requirement. Other features offered with the LM include a 48-inch TV, airline-style recliner seats, a 23-speaker system for a premium sound experience, fold-out tables, heated armrests and ottomans, a wireless phone charger, a fridge, rear glove boxes, a digital rearview mirror, an umbrella holder, and so on.

Lexus also offers safety features like the Lexus Safety System+ 3 suite of ADAS tech, which includes vehicle detection (stationary/preceding vehicle), dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, automatic high beam, blind spot monitor, safe exit assist, and so on.

The Lexus LM 350h is powered by a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder, strong hybrid petrol engine. In this system, the petrol engine works along with an electric motor to move the car forward. This is much more efficient than a regular petrol engine.

The Lexus LM generates a combined power output of 250 PS and 239 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an e-CVT gearbox. The power is sent to all four wheels using Lexus’ E-Four wheel drive system.
