Brand-New Mahindra Thar Roxx Modified With 22-Inch Alloy Wheels (Video)
The deliveries of the brand-new Mahindra Thar Roxx have just begun, and people have already started modifying this SUV. Recently, a video of an all-new Thar Roxx AX5L being fitted with a set of 22-inch alloy wheels has been shared online. In this video, the owner talks about how he got this SUV so quickly and also about the performance of this SUV on 22-inch wheels.
This video showing the modified Mahindra Thar Roxx has been shared on YouTube by Her Garage. It starts off with the host revealing that this SUV was delivered just a day ago, and soon after getting the delivery, the owner fitted it with these massive 22-inch alloy wheels. Following this, she introduces the owner of this Thar Roxx.

After the introduction, the presenter first asks what the cost of this SUV was. To this, the owner replies that he has opted for the AX5L variant of this SUV, and the on-road price of it came to Rs 24.40 lakh in Haryana. Next up, she asks him why he immediately modified the car with such big alloy wheels.
The owner then states that he already owns a three-door Thar. So, for that SUV, he had two sets of alloy wheels in sizes 20-inch and 22-inch. He elaborated that as these 22-inch alloy wheels and off-road tyres were a spare set, he fitted them on his new SUV.
Following this, the vlogger then asks him if he has done any other modifications apart from the wheels. To this, he mentions that, as he owns a detailing shop, he immediately took the car to his shop for paint correction and paint protection film (PPF) application after taking delivery.
Do these tyres cause issues?
After talking about the modifications, the vlogger asks the owner of the Thar Roxx if these massive alloy wheels are causing any issues or not. The owner then states that these alloy wheels are currently rubbing against the fender liners at the front. He added that he has only fitted these wheels temporarily just to make his SUV look unique.
How did the owner get his Thar Roxx so quickly?
Soon after this, the vlogger then asked the owner how he managed to get this SUV so quickly. To this, he replied that he had already booked two models, the AX7L and the AX5L, both with automatic transmissions.
He stated that he wanted the car quickly, so he was ready to buy whichever of the two came to the dealership first. After this, he mentioned that the dealership called him to inform him that the AX5L variant had arrived first.
So, he quickly went to the showroom with his documents for the loan, and the next day, the SUV was delivered to him. The owner added that at the dealership, his car was the only 4X4 variant, while the rest of the SUVs delivered were 4X2 variants.
Complaints with the Thar Roxx
Following this, the vlogger then asks the owner if he has any complaints with the SUV. To this, he mentions that the biggest problem he has with the SUV is that it comes with a white interior. He added that this interior gets dirty extremely quickly, and it is very hard to maintain.
He, however, added that it does make the interior feel a lot airier. Apart from this, he added that he believes the front seats could have been made slightly bigger. But that is not a big issue, he concluded.
Coming to the good things about the SUV, he states that, in terms of rear seat comfort, it is way more comfortable than the Mahindra Scorpio-N, which he also owns.
Lastly, he added that this time around, the company has given Apple CarPlay from the get-go, which is a good thing. The owner stated that when he bought the Scorpio-N, buyers had to wait eight months to get this feature.
