People can suffer from heart attacks at any time, and we have seen numerous cases of people going through one while driving. Recently, another similar case took place in Bengaluru, Karnataka, where a bus driver, while driving, suffered a heart attack. Thankfully, due to the alertness of the conductor of the bus, he managed to quickly stop the bus before any major accident took place.

The video showing this terrifying moment has been shared on X by ChezkrishnaCK on their page. In this short clip, which is the CCTV footage from the bus, we can note that, in the beginning, the driver of this bus was driving normally. However, at one point, we can note that he loses his consciousness.

At this time, we can also see that he falls to the left side. Due to this sudden heart attack and the driver becoming unconscious, the bus starts swerving towards the left. As a result, it then crashes into another bus which was driving in the left lane.

Soon after this, the conductor of the bus, Obalesh, can be seen jumping into the driver’s seat while the bus driver was still unconscious. Due to his quick thinking, he immediately applied the brakes of the bus to avoid getting into any other major accident. What happens afterward is not shown in the video.

As per the official statement, the name of the bus driver is Kiran Kumar aged 40. He was operating the BMTC bus with registration number “KA 57 F 4007”. On this trip, the bus was on the Nelamangala- Dasanapura route.

Unfortunately, the bus driver, did not survive the heart attack. BMTC while commenting on the incident stated, “It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely demise of Kiran Kumar, a driver from Depot 40, who passed away due to a sudden heart attack on November 6.”

Heart attacks can happen anywhere

This is not the first time that a person driving a vehicle has suffered a heart attack. Just a while ago, a case from the USA was shared online in which a Tesla owner suffered a heart attack at his home.

In a post, the Tesla owner, Franklin, was suffering from dehydration and dangerously high blood glucose levels. This happened due to a malfunction in his insulin pump. During this time, he was alone and had no immediate access to assistance. This is when he immediately went inside his Tesla Model 3 and started driving towards the hospital.

Due to the recently rolled-out full self-driving mode of Tesla vehicles, Franklin was able to reach the hospital in time, where he underwent an immediate surgery. As per the post, the distance from Franklin’s home to the hospital was 13 miles, which the Tesla managed to cover without any issues.

In his post, Franklin thanked Elon Musk, the billionaire CEO of Tesla. He stated, “I extend my gratitude to Elon Musk for his crazy, erratic leadership in advancing technology that is more than just transportation. As someone who shares Elon’s place ‘on the spectrum,’ I am particularly appreciative of his commitment to excellence and innovation. He has profoundly impacted our world and personally impacted my own.”
