Man Walks Away After Nearly Getting Crushed Between Two Buses! [Video]
Indian roads are extremely challenging to drive on, and we have seen several videos on the internet showing the same. It’s not just cars and bikes, but even people driving heavy vehicles like buses and trucks drive recklessly and cause accidents. Hundreds of accidents happen on our roads every day, and in some cases, people even lose their loved ones. Here, we have one video from Tamil Nadu where a man who was waiting for the bus miraculously escapes after getting crushed between two buses.
The video has been shared by a social media user, Maddy, on his X profile. The entire accident was captured on the surveillance camera that was installed on the left side of the bus. The accident happened somewhere in Tamil Nadu. The exact location is not known.
Coming to the video, we see the bus with the camera moving through a narrow road in a village or a suburban area. We see the bus slow down, and as it slows down, we notice a person standing on the roadside. It looks like the bus driver had slowed down for the passenger.
The man starts walking towards the bus, and as he was almost next to it, we see another bus coming from the rear. The bus was clearly speeding, and the driver probably didn’t get enough time to actually stop the vehicle.
In order to avoid rear-ending the bus in front, the bus driver swerved the vehicle to the left and tried to squeeze it through the narrow gap. What he didn’t realise was that there was a person on the road. The driver managed to squeeze the bus through the gap, but the man next to the bus had nowhere to go. He was trapped between the two buses.
We can see him trying hard to get out, but there was no way he could move or escape. The bus continued to move forward, and the man fell on the road. The rear tyre of the bus narrowly missed him. By the time the bus moved away, we see the person lying on the ground.
It initially looked like he was injured, but seconds later, we see him get up from the road. He had a miraculous escape. This was an accident where the man could have easily suffered serious injuries or even got run over by the bus. The metal panels of both buses could have stabbed or cut deep into the man’s body and injured him. However, nothing like that happened, and he walked away with literally no visible injuries.
The reason for this accident was clearly the reckless behaviour of the bus driver. The driver was either speeding or was probably trying to overtake the other bus from the left-hand side. This kind of aggressive driving style or behaviour is commonly seen among bus drivers in many parts of the country.
This often leads to accidents too. Bus drivers or people driving heavy vehicles should always be careful about their surroundings. They should not only think about other road users but also about the safety of the passengers in the vehicle.
