Remember the gentleman from Chennai who bought India’s first Rolls Royce Spectre? Chennai-based infrastructure builder Baashyaam Yuvaraj of Baashyaam Constructions had bought the Spectre even before its official launch in India. It looks like, they are too happy with the product and decided to buy one more for themselves. The Chennai builder’s brand new Spectre was recently spotted on the road in Chennai.

The images have been shared by Automobili Ardent India on their Instagram page. The images have been shared with a caption, “The way Rolls-Royces sell in India despite the absurd price tags is a lesson in inelasticity of demand at the top. This is Chennai’s newest Rolls-Royces Spectre and the gentleman’s second Spectre. Since his Wittering Blue example wasn’t enough, he went and bought this one, painted in Imperial Jade, which perfectly matches his SF90 Spider which is painted Verde Medio. Truly mind boggling!”

Meanwhile, here’s a video of Yuvaraj Baashyam taking delivery of his first Rolls Royce,

Rolls Royce Spectre is an extremely special car in the Rolls Royce line up. It is the first ever electric vehicle manufactured by Rolls Royce. The first ever electric Rolls Royce has a starting price of around 7.50 crore. Depending on the customisations, the price go up.

Although it is an EV, Rolls-Royce has not compromised on the design. It continues to get the signature Rolls-Royce grille with the spirit of ecstasy on the bonnet. The colour of the bonnet and the grille can be customised as per customer request. The coupe-like sloping roof meets the tailgate of the electric car. We see the tail light of the Spectre in this post.

The Imperial Jade shade looks extremely good on this Rolls Royce and we can’t wait to see picture or videos of this very same Spectre in daylight. Lately, many customers who are buying expensive and exotic cars have started opting for elegant looking shades of green. The 23 inch alloy wheels on the Rolls Royce Spectre are also different from the ICE version.

As mentioned above, Rolls Royce offers high level of customisations to its customers and we are not sure how exactly the interior on this Spectre would look like. Usually, we have seen Spectre with features like starlight roof, premium leather upholstery, wooden and glass panel inserts on dashboard, electric seats, multi-zone climate control and so on.

Rolls Royce cars were known for their extremely silent cabin. As Spectre is an EV, it was probably an easier job for the manufacturer to make the cabin feel even more premium, premium and silent. Spectre weighs around 3 tonnes, and the electric motor generates 593 PS and 900 Nm of peak torque.

This electric car has a claimed range of 520 km. As this is an EV, the Spectre can do 0-100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds and that is impressive for a car that weighs around 3 tonnes.

Rolls Royce Spectre is slowly gaining popularity among buyers in India. Not many celebs or millionaire businessmen have bought this luxury electric saloon. Other than the Chennai-based builder Telugu superstar Ram Charan and family had bought a black coloured Rolls Royce Spectre. We’ve seen couple of video in which the actor is seen getting out of his new EV.
