Young Indian Doctor Buys Rs. 6 Crore McLaren 750S Spider Supercar
The number of people buying expensive supercars in India has gone up in the last couple of decades. We have seen several young entrepreneurs and celebs go for supercars recently. It is often part of their lifestyle, and many of them even drive these expensive cars on a daily basis. Here we have a video where a doctor from Chennai is seen taking delivery of his brand-new McLaren 750S Spider supercar worth Rs 5.9 crore.
The video has been shared by McLaren Mumbai on their Instagram page. McLaren officially entered the Indian market a couple of years ago, and they currently have a dealership only in Mumbai. In the video, we see Mr. Nikhil and his family arrive at the McLaren dealership in Mumbai to take delivery. They have bought the McLaren in Abyss Black shade, and they were actually dressed in black to match with the car.
As Nikhil entered the dealership, he was greeted by the staff and was quickly given a tour of the dealership with all the customization options and other optional extras on display. Once the tour was done, the customer moved to the documentation, and once that was completed, they went ahead and unveiled the car.
The McLaren 750S Spider looks extremely good in this shade of black. Once that was done, the family posed for pictures and even celebrated the occasion by cutting a cake. After posing for videos and images, the owner was quickly told about the features in the car, and then we see him driving it out.
What makes this car special is that this is Chennai’s first McLaren 750S. We have seen several McLarens on Indian roads, but most of them have been brought to India via Carnet and have Dubai registration. This one will get a proper Indian registration.
McLaren 750S Spider
As mentioned above, McLaren officially entered the Indian market in 2023. They are offering all their models in India, and the all-new 750S supercar was launched last year. McLaren currently has a dealership only in Mumbai. The exterior design of the new McLaren 750S is actually an evolution of the popular 720S.
The differences between both these models are subtle. For example, the 750S gets a new front bumper that incorporates a larger splitter, larger intakes to improve cooling, and slimmer-looking LED headlamps. The supercar also comes with a larger active rear wing, which is 20 percent larger in terms of surface area than the 720S. The rear wing increases downforce and stopping performance.
The owner has gone for an all-black theme, which looks extremely good and gives the car a stealthy look. Several customization options are also available with the car, and we are sure the customer has opted for a few.
The butterfly doors on the McLaren can also be seen in the video. There is a fully digital instrument cluster, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a multi-function steering wheel, and so on.
The supercar is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo flat-plane V8 engine. This engine generates a maximum of 750 PS and 800 Nm of peak torque. The 750S is lighter than the 720S, which has improved its overall performance.
The 750S can do a 0–100 kmph sprint in just 2.8 seconds and needs only 4.4 seconds to reach the 200 kmph mark. The top speed is 331 kmph. The price for a brand-new McLaren 750S in India is around Rs 5.91 crore, ex-showroom.
