Chennai Start-Up Gifts 25 Employees Brand New Hyundai Creta SUVs To Reward Loyalty [Video]

The success of a company or firm is tailored by its employees. In many cases, they aren't rewarded properly. A technology startup from Chennai, Tamil Nadu has now made headlines by rewarding its long-serving employees. Agilisium Consulting, HQ-ed in Chennai, has been having immense business success recently. It chose to celebrate it by gifting brand-new SUVs to its long-serving employees.
Agilisium commenced the milestone delivery on the occasion of its tenth anniversary. The management gifted 25 Hyundai Cretas, all finished in White, to the employees who have been with the company since its inception. This, it says, was a reward for their loyalty. The vehicles had the names of the qualifying employees on their registration plates when they were handed over at the celebratory event.
Some of the recipients had come to the event with their families. It was indeed a joyous occasion for all of them. "Thank you for putting your trust in me; without followers, there is no leader," Agilisium's founder and CEO, Raj Babu said while addressing the gathering. "I hope I've delivered and I hope I continue to deliver." he added.
Agilisium was founded in 2014 and continues its successful run as an Agentic AI partner. "We have always believed that our people are our strongest differentiator. Even in a year when the industry has taken a cautious stance, we chose to invest in our talent through timely hikes and meaningful recognition. These cars are not rewards; they are a symbol of enduring trust, shared purpose, and the spirit of building something remarkable together." said the founder.
While all the Cretas delivered were finished in White, it is unclear what engines they house under their hoods. Hyundai offers the choice of three engines- a 1.5 naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5 turbocharged diesel and 1.5 turbocharged TGDi petrol. The carmaker also offers both manual and automatic transmissions.
The Creta has been the carmaker's hottest-selling SUV in the Indian market. It currently has a starting price of Rs 11.11 lakh (ex-showroom) and the range-topping variant costs Rs 20.50 lakh, ex-showroom.
The facelifted Creta went on sale in India in January 2024. It had notable improvements over the pre-facelift SUV. The front fascia received hefty restyling. It got a larger grille, new headlamps, scuff plates and redrawn lines. The rear now has connected LED tail lamps and a new bumper. It now rides on a set of new alloy wheels.
Inside, the design and layout have improved. It gets a new dashboard and more features. It now comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital driver display, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, rear AC vents, wireless charger, powered driver’s seat, onboard air purifier, electronic parking brake, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, two-step adjustable rear seat backrest, rear sunshades and more. It also comes with more connected and internet-based features.
Circling back to the video, this isn't the first time that we see successful startups gifting cars to their employees. Previously, Team Detailing Solutions, a Chennai-based company had gifted 28 cars and 29 bikes to its employees. These vehicles ranged from Tata Tiago to Mercedes Benz C Classes.
The company intended to boost the morale of its workforce with these gifts. It wanted to recognize the efforts of the employees. Employees were assessed based on their performance and years of service to qualify for these gifts.
In another case, a Panchkula-based pharma company gifted 15 Tata Punch micro-SUVs to its long-serving employees, recognizing their service and trust in the company.
