The Wildest Bentley Bentayga We've Seen Is NOT A Bentayga

The Bentley Bentayga is one of the most luxurious SUVs in the world. In India, it carries a price tag of Rs 7 crore for the extended wheelbase variant. Due to this, we do not come across a lot of them on the roads. Recently, however, we came across a Bentley Bentayga online which, although looks like one, is actually not a Bentayga. Yes, we are talking about a Bentley Bentayga-based electric hatchback from China.
The images of this particular Bentley Bentayga electric hatchback have been shared on Instagram by Bee Tee Autos from Nigeria. This particular dealership is located in Jahi, Abuja, Nigeria, and deals in used luxury and affordable cars. The official account of this dealership recently shared a few images of a small electric hatchback which has taken its design inspiration from the Bentley Bentayga.
From the front, we can note that this particular Bentley Bentayga copy gets a similar-looking chrome front grille with chrome mesh. It also gets the quad LED headlight setup, but it can be clearly seen that the quality of these lights is nowhere near the original model. The real Bentayga gets crystal-studded LED headlights. As for the bumper, it gets a similar Bentley “B”-inspired front grille garnish.
To give this electric hatchback the signature Bentley Bentayga appearance, it has been finished in the dual-tone shade of orange and champagne gold. The bonnet and the roof are finished in the gold color, and the rest of the body is orange. It gets large rounded ORVMs and a set of cheap-looking multispoke alloy wheels. Unlike the real Bentley, this one gets blacked-out side mouldings.
As for the rear, it does not even look remotely close to the Bentayga. This copycat vehicle comes with LED taillights with a connecting bar in the middle, and it also gets a bumper with a grey-colored element. Overall, this vehicle only slightly resembles the Bentley from the front; the rest of the vehicle is very badly designed.
Moving on to the interior of this knockoff Bentley Bentayga, it comes equipped with a white interior. Now, whether the seats have leatherette upholstery or fabric upholstery is unknown. The main highlight of this car's cabin is the triple-screen layout. It also gets a rotary knob in the middle and a kind of crystal shifter.
This particular Bentley Bentayga copy vehicle is an electric hatchback created by a Chinese automaker. Its main purpose is not to compete with the original car. Rather, this vehicle, as well as knockoffs of other popular models like the Land Rover Defender, Range Rover, Rolls-Royce Cullinan, and others, are used as golf caddies across the globe. These cost anywhere in the range of Rs 5–7 lakh.
The original Bentley Bentayga in India starts at Rs 4.10 crore and goes up to Rs 6 crore for the EWB variant. It comes equipped with a massive 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 motor which makes 542 bhp and 770 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
