Actor Vikram, popularly known as Chiyaan Vikram among his fans, is a well-known star in the Tamil and South Indian film industry. Vikram is admired for his versatile roles across various movies. Like many celebrities, he also owns several luxury cars as part of his collection. Recently, he was spotted driving his Ferrari Purosangue SUV on the streets of Chennai, where he was also seen interacting with a fan at a traffic signal. He's the first big movie star in India to own the Purosangue.

The video was shared by Barath Jelin on social media. It appears they were traveling in their car when they noticed a Teal Blue Ferrari Purosangue on the road. Excited, they began recording the car and soon overtook it from the right.

Interestingly, the Ferrari wasn’t being driven fast or recklessly. The driver had the window covered with a regular sunshade. However, the occupants quickly recognized the actor and started following the car. At a traffic signal, the vehicle stopped, and Vikram noticed kids in the car that was recording him.

The actor then peeped through the window shade and began interacting with them. A moment later, he removed the shade completely and was seen smiling, talking to the kids, and engaging with the driver of the other car.

Apart from the Ferrari, Chiyaan Vikram also owns a Rolls Royce Spectre. The first ever electric car from British luxury car manufacturer. He bought the car in a Deep Maroon shade and has been spotted on the road couple of times.

The Ferrari Purosangue is a very special car, and it looks like the actor has recently added one to his garage. We call it special because it is Ferrari’s first SUV and also their first 4-door model, designed to be practical and family-friendly. It comes with four doors, usable rear seats, and a decent boot space - features rarely associated with Ferrari.

The Purosangue competes with models like the Lamborghini Urus, Aston Martin DBX, and other performance SUVs. Its exterior styling is unmistakably Ferrari, with a sports car-inspired front and an SUV-like stance. Unlike traditional SUVs, it isn’t excessively tall, which gives it a sleek profile. One standout feature is the rear-hinged back doors, which open wide to make ingress and egress easier.

Inside, the Purosangue offers premium features such as leather seats, an electrochromic glass roof, electronically operated rear doors, and 373 liters of boot space. While the rear seats aren’t the most spacious, they are practical enough for everyday use.

Under the hood, the SUV is powered by a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 petrol engine that produces 725 PS and 716 Nm of peak torque. Priced at ₹10.5 crore (ex-showroom), it is even more expensive than some of its rivals.

The Purosangue has quickly become a favorite among India’s wealthy car enthusiasts. A Bengaluru-based real estate businessman, Boopesh Reddy (Bren Garage), was the first to own one in India - even before the official launch. The Ambani family also owns not one, but two Ferrari Purosangue SUVs in their collection.
