Just-Launched Citroen C3 Dark Edition Detailed In A Walkaround Video
The French automaker Citroen India recently launched the all-new C3 Dark Edition in India. This particular model is the blacked-out version of the already popular hatchback from the brand. Recently, a video giving a detailed walkaround of the Citroen C3 Dark Edition has been shared online. In the video, the vlogger shows this new model from the outside as well as the inside and provides all the details of the changes on this vehicle.
This video of the C3 Dark Edition has been shared on YouTube by Anurag Imley on their channel. It starts off with the YouTuber showing the exterior design of the newly launched C3 Dark Edition. Following this, he then moves on to the interior and then talks about the drivetrain and pricing of the new model.
Exterior walkaround
For the exterior walkaround, the vlogger starts off by showing the front end of the new C3 Dark Edition. He shows and mentions that this new model gets a dark chrome front grille, which Citroen calls the moustache grille. He then shows the LED projector headlights of the C3, which also get Y-shaped LED DRLs that add a premium appeal. Apart from this, the front end gets a set of halogen fog lamps and a faux silver skid plate on the bottom portion.
Following the front end, the vlogger then moves to the side profile. He states that the main highlight is the 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, which are the exact same as the standard top-of-the-line variant. The car also gets gloss black roof rails, wheel arch claddings, and the Dark Edition model specifically gets the door cladding as well. Apart from these, the rest of the vehicle looks the same.
He then shows the rear end of the vehicle and states that not much has changed. It gets dark chrome Citroen and C3 badges and a silver skid plate. The taillights of the Citroen C3 Dark Edition are the same as the standard model, which are halogen units.
Interior design
Moving on, after showing the complete exterior of the C3 Dark Edition, the vlogger shows the interior of this hatchback. He first starts by showing the spacious boot and then moves to the cabin of the vehicle. The C3 Dark Edition gets four speakers, fixed headrests for the rear passengers, and a supportive seat.
Following this, he then shows the front of the cabin and dashboard layout of this hatchback. It comes equipped with all-black fabric upholstery, four power windows, leatherette on the armrest, and gloss black accents. It also comes with a digital instrument gauge cluster, 10.25-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, and others.
Powertrain
The Citroen C3 Dark Edition hatchback comes offered with two engine options. The first is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated unit, and the other is a 1.2-litre turbo unit. The former makes 82 bhp and 115 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the latter makes 110 bhp and 205 Nm of torque.
As for the pricing, the Citroen C3 hatchback Dark Edition is based on the Shine variant, and it comes in three trims. These are Shine Dark Edition - Rs 8.38 lakh, Shine Turbo Dark - Rs 9.58 lakh, and Turbo Dark AT priced at Rs 10.19 lakh.
