Cricketer Chris Gayle needs no introduction. He was part of international cricket for the West Indies from 1999 to 2021. He is known for his performance in the T20 format, and he is often called the greatest batsman to have played T20 cricket. Just like most cricketers, Chris Gayle also leads a lavish lifestyle. The cricketer has now shared a few pictures online where he is seen with a Rolls Royce, which has a number plate costlier than the car itself.

The images and videos have been shared by Chris Gayle on his Instagram page. In these images, we see Chris Gayle sitting in front of a Rolls Royce Ghost luxury car. The car is finished in a white and turquoise shade. The interior of the car is also finished in the same turquoise shade as the exterior.

We know that Rolls Royce cars are extremely expensive and are known as the epitome of luxury in automobiles. The customization options in these cars are what make them even more expensive. In India, we have seen people spend lakhs on registration numbers.

A similar trend is seen in Dubai as well. The Rolls Royce in the video actually has a number plate that is probably more expensive than the car itself.

The car has a registration number “9,” which is incredibly expensive to acquire. Single-digit registrations are extremely costly in Dubai, and in the past, we have come across videos where people have revealed the amount spent on such registration numbers. Chris Gayle posted the video with the caption, “I’m in the top 10 in Dubai – do the maths if you know numbers! ?? #UniverseBoss my driver is a legend.”

We are not sure if the car in the post is owned by the cricketer or if it belongs to a friend. We see the registration number F9 on the Rolls Royce’s number plate. In the past, we have come across a video where a Bugatti Chiron owner from Dubai spent around $7,000,000, which roughly translates into Rs 52 crores, on the registration number.

If not that much, we are assuming the owner might have easily spent more than the cost of the car. Not only does Chris Gayle pose with the car, but he also takes a spin in the Rolls Royce Ghost. We see the car being driven on the wide roads of Dubai while Chris Gayle records a video from the rear seat.

The Rolls Royce Ghost seen here is probably the Series II luxury sedan. Rolls Royce cars are a common sight in a city like Dubai. So, to differentiate from the crowd, people often opt for such expensive registration numbers. The Rolls Royce Ghost is powered by a 6.75-liter V12 petrol engine that generates 563 Bhp and 900 Nm of peak torque.

In India, many famous celebrities and businessmen own Rolls Royce cars. Most of them opt for fancy numbers and even pay a premium to obtain such numbers. However, no one in India has paid more than the actual price of the car just for the registration of such expensive cars.
