This Is A Honda Elevate, Seriously!

The Japanese automotive tuning and customization company, DAMD, or Dream Automotive Design and Development, has created an extremely unique version of the Honda Elevate, which is exported and sold in Japan as the WR-V. This particular WR-V or Elevate has been inspired by the classic Jeep Grand Cherokee and gets a retro front fascia and a beautiful emerald green color. It has been designed to be showcased at the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon.
This particular Honda Elevate, as mentioned, is the most unique one that you’ll get to see. Its images have been shared online by DAMD Inc. on their official Instagram page. We can note that DAMD has given it a complete makeover. Starting off at the front, the company has removed the original LED headlights, its massive front grille, and the stock bumper.
It has now added Jeep Grand Cherokee-inspired vintage rectangular halogen-based headlamps. Additionally, the grille now boasts six rectangular slats, and the front bumper has been given the same boxy design. It gets boxy housing for the fog lights, and there are also silver accents on the bumper in the middle. The lower portion also gets a faux silver skid plate.
Moving on to the side profile, this particular Honda Elevate has been given a set of black steel rims. Apart from this, to add a rugged appearance, the SUV gets a set of BF Goodrich all-terrain tyres. The lower portion of the doors has also been adorned with silver garnish, along with the roof rails finished in the same brushed silver color.
A few pictures of this unique Honda Elevate/WR-V in real-life settings have also been shared. It can be noted that it looks very unique in real life as well. Additionally, the company has shared a picture showing the interior of this SUV. It comes equipped with checkered cloth seats, and the same material has been used on the armrest as well.
As mentioned above, this unique creation based on the Honda Elevate has been designed by DAMD—Dream Automotive Design and Development. It is a brand known for designing aftermarket body kits and accessories for popular cars. It also creates retro-modified cars based on modern vehicles. This particular Honda Elevate/WR-V will be showcased at the Tokyo Auto Salon, which will take place from January 10–12 in Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan.
For those who may not be aware, the Honda Elevate, which is produced and sold in India, is exported to Japan as the WR-V. What’s even more interesting is that this particular SUV sells more in Japan than in India. The sales of the Elevate in India hover around 3,900 units per month. However, in Japan, the company sells around 4,000 units every month.
The Honda Elevate is currently the only SUV sold by the Japanese brand in India. It comes with a single engine option—a 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol motor. It is capable of producing 121 PS of power and 145 Nm of torque. The Elevate in India is offered with a 6-speed manual transmission as well as a CVT gearbox. Pricing of the Elevate in India starts at Rs 11.73 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 16.67 lakh.
