KTM is one of those brands that has popularised performance motorcycles in the Indian market. The Austrian motorcycle brand has several models available at an affordable price, which attract a lot of buyers. KTM updates its models on a regular basis and tries to bring in new features and styling with every new generation. This year, they launched the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure, and here we have a video where a rider shows off the cruise control feature on this new motorcycle on the road.

The video has been shared by Vanshu Arora on his Instagram page. It looks like the rider took delivery of the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure and took it for a quick ride up in the mountains. There are several videos of the rider with his new 390 Adventure available on his profile. This particular video showcases a feature that KTM has introduced in this new version.

The current-generation 390 Adventure now comes with cruise control. It is a premium feature that we had only seen in high-end bikes until a few years ago. However, now with technology becoming more affordable and competition rising, many two-wheeler brands have started offering premium features like this in their models. We even have several electric scooters that offer this feature.

In this video, we see the rider standing on the pegs of the new 390 Adventure on a mountain road. He is actually riding casually while maintaining a constant speed. You then notice that the rider is not controlling the throttle at all. He is not touching the handlebar of the motorcycle, and yet the bike manages to retain the speed.

This is because of the cruise control feature on the bike. The rider must have set the cruise control at a particular speed, and the bike is maintaining the speed until the rider deactivates it by pressing the clutch or the cruise control button.

We see him show off this feature on a public road. While we understand that the rider was trying to showcase the cruise control feature, we do not recommend anyone to ride with their hands off the handlebar.

It is extremely risky, especially on public roads. The rider might be an expert, but other people on the road are not. In case of an accident, the rider will not have enough time to gain control of the bike or avoid the crash if he doesn’t have his hands on the handlebar.

The KTM 390 Adventure is based on an all-new platform, and it comes with features like tubeless spoke wheels and cruise control as standard. At 183 kilos, the new-generation KTM 390 Adventure is 6 kg heavier than the previous model. The motorcycle is powered by the same 399-cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine that generates 46 PS and 39 Nm of peak torque.

The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter. The vlogger has posted several videos about overheating and a faulty instrument cluster in his new KTM 390 Adventure. Hopefully, the manufacturer is resolving the issues in the motorcycle.
