Bengaluru Woman Blocks Bus That Brushed Against Her Car: Gets Nearly Run Over [Video]
Road rage incidents are becoming common on Indian roads, and if there is one city that is infamous for such incidents, it has to be Bengaluru. Almost every day, we come across at least a couple of such incidents from Bengaluru. Here we have one such incident where a woman was nearly run over by a bus after she confronted the driver for rash driving.
The video has been shared by Thirdeye on their X profile. It was captured by the dashcam of a car that was passing through the same road where this incident happened. As the dashcam car crossed the signal, we see a woman standing in front of a transport corporation bus.
Suddenly, the bus starts moving forward, and we see the woman still standing in front of it. She was trying to block the bus, but the bus driver continued to drive forward. The woman narrowly escaped being crushed by the bus, and we see the bus jumping the traffic signal as well.
As seen in the video, other vehicles at the same signal were waiting for their turn except the bus. On checking the comment section, we came to know that the bus driver had brushed the vehicle against the woman’s car.
She decided to confront him, and the reaction to that is what we saw in the video here. The comments also mention that the incident was officially reported and that the concerned authorities were made aware of it. They took action against the driver, and as per reports, he has been suspended from duty until a formal inquiry is pending on this matter.
The comment section under this video and post consists of mixed reactions. While there are a number of users pointing out the reckless behaviour of the bus driver, others are talking about how the woman behaved on the road over a small scratch on her car.
Who’s at fault?
In this case, the bus driver’s carelessness is what caused the incident. He should have ideally stopped the bus and spoken to the driver and occupant of the car. Instead of resolving the issue, the bus driver drove the vehicle forward, which put the life of the woman standing in front of the bus in danger.
If she had not moved away in time, the bus driver might have run the vehicle over her or hit her with the bus. The bus driver’s behaviour is completely unacceptable.
On the other hand, what the woman did in this case is also not entirely acceptable. She probably confronted the driver, and he might have driven the bus forward when he felt threatened. She should have realised that her own life is more important and precious than the car.
Both parties should have ideally contacted the police and informed them about the incident. If the bus driver had fled the spot without stopping, she could have noted down the bus number, and the authorities could have easily traced him. Always be patient on the road and stay alert to avoid such accidents or incidents.
