This Is A Kia Carnival
The Kia Carnival is one of the most comfortable and luxurious MPVs in the Indian market. The new model now looks very premium and sporty. However, the old model had a very simple yet elegant design. Recently, Dilip Chhabria DC, whom we know as the designer of some of the most ridiculous-looking cars, has changed the appearance of a Carnival. This particular Kia Carnival has been given an extensive amount of modifications on the outside as well as on the inside.

Exterior
The video showing the modifications done to this particular Kia Carnival luxury MPV has been shared on Instagram by DC Dilip Chhabria on their page. It starts off with the exterior design of this Kia Carnival. Unlike the standard vehicle, the entire front end of this vehicle has been changed using an aftermarket body kit.
On the front, it gets a new, sharper, and sportier-looking fascia. The headlights of this vehicle have been shifted to the front bumper, where it gets rectangular cutouts for them and has LED projector units. The central part of this fascia is taken over by the number plate of this vehicle, and the top portion gets a unique grille. As for the rear, the stock taillights have been replaced with a connected LED light.
Interior modifications
Moving on to the interior, DC has worked its magic by converting its cabin into a first-class airplane seat and lounge. The clip shows that this Carnival has automatically deployable jump seats for extra passengers. These seats are wrapped in white leather with perforation. Apart from these, it also gets a custom center console in between these seats as well.
Following this, the video then shows the completely replaced new interior panels that are finished with high-gloss elements and have ambient lighting everywhere. There are diffused LED light panels inside this vehicle as well to increase the light inside the cabin. Moving on, the video then shows the main highlight of this cabin.
This particular Kia Carnival has been given a set of massive 24-inch lounge seats. These seats can be reclined and also laid down fully flat. They also provide ventilation, power adjustment, massage, and extendable ottomans. As for the upholstery, they are also finished in white leather. Lastly, this Carnival also gets two foldable tables as well.
Cost of such modifications and does it make sense?
DC has not provided the exact list and cost of the modifications done on this particular Kia Carnival. However, DC lounge conversions start from around Rs 10 lakh for the Carnival and can go up to Rs 27–30 lakh or more depending upon the options and features selected by the owner.
Now, coming to the point of whether it makes sense to modify such vehicles — well, the answer to this is subjective. For someone who owns a business that has multiple locations and has to travel a lot, it makes sense. The amount of luxury and comfort provided by such lounges is incomparable. Mostly, such vehicles are modified by frequent long-distance travelers.
