Rolls Royce Refused To Sell A Car To Mallika Sherawat: Is This True?

Bollywood and rumours are something that go hand in hand. Over the decades, we have come across several such rumours about actors, actresses, movies and even the budget of some films. Some of these rumours are true while others are often created for the sake of publicity. One such rumour that we once heard was about Mallika Sherawat. It was at a time when she was extremely popular and active in the industry. It was rumoured that over 10 years ago, Rolls Royce had denied a car to the actress. Did something like this actually happen or was it just another rumour? Let’s find out.
The answer was simple. It was nothing but a rumour, and the actress herself had revealed the truth. Mallika Sherawat, while talking to Mandira Bedi, who is a popular television host and actress, revealed this. Mandira, on her talk show The Love Laugh Live Show, asked Mallika if she was actually denied a Rolls Royce.
It looked like Mallika herself wasn’t aware of this rumour and told Mandira that it was nothing but gossip. While replying to the question in an elaborate manner, Mallika said, “Oh my God, there is this one particular journalist. He lives in Patna or somewhere, and he is always writing nonsense about me, which is not true. Because he wants gifts, and I refuse to indulge in such behaviour.” She added that this was not the first time the journalist had spread a rumour about her online.
There are several rumours on the internet regarding the Rolls Royce brand as well. Some claim that Rolls Royce only sells cars to the ultra-rich or to selected customers. While we often see the rich businessmen, celebrities buy Rolls Royce cars this rumour is not true. Rolls Royce is like any other car brand. If you have the money, they will sell the car to you.
In recent years, the actress has often been spotted with various Rolls Royce models, most of which were captured while she was abroad for shoots and vacations. In one such instance, she was photographed opening the door of a black Rolls Royce Dawn.
For those unfamiliar, the Dawn is essentially the convertible version of the Wraith two-door sports coupe and was among the brand’s most popular open-top models. Unfortunately, earlier this year, Rolls Royce discontinued the Dawn to make way for the all-new Spectre, the company’s first-ever electric coupe.
Before this, Mallika Sherawat was also seen with a Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead convertible. Finished in silver, the car was photographed with the actress standing by its signature rear-hinged door. Prior to the Dawn’s debut, the Phantom Drophead was the brand’s only convertible, powered by a massive 6.8-litre naturally aspirated V12 producing over 460 bhp and 720 Nm of torque.
Although Mallika may not personally own a Rolls Royce, she does have something even more extravagant — a Lamborghini Aventador SV. This ultra-rare and expensive supercar is regarded as one of the boldest and loudest models ever made.
Under the hood, it packs a 6.5-litre V12 petrol engine that delivers 740 bhp and 690 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed semi-automatic transmission powering all four wheels. The Aventador SV rockets from 0–100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 350 km/h.
