Bollywood industry is still grieving to the news of the demise of veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra. Reports of his demise have been on the internet for the last one week. We had earlier seen fake news reports about the actor’s death, but the family denied the same, and the sad news about the actor’s demise came a week after that. Dharmendra was always known as a man who loved his family a lot. His younger daughter has now said that she wishes to inherit her father’s Fiat 1100 car and values it more than the wealth that he owned.
The reports about actor Dharmendra’s will and assets have been circulating online. The reason why Ahana wants the Fiat is not because of the rarity of the vehicle, but because of the childhood memories she has with the car.
When media asked Ahana about what she would choose to receive from her father in the future, she spoke about his Fiat 1100 car and not about the property or any other asset he owned. The Fiat 1100 was Dharmendra’s first car. She even shared her fondest memories of how, as a kid, she used to enjoy road trips in the car. Many of these trips were unplanned, and that is probably one of the reasons why Ahana also wanted to inherit it.
She explained it as a small but meaningful reminder of the experiences he carried with him. It holds memories that she likes to preserve. The Fiat 1100 was not just any car for Dharmendra. It was his dear friend and was his first car, which he bought at the beginning of his career.

There is actually an interesting story about the very same Fiat 1100. Dharmendra had posted a video about his friend "the Fiat 1100" on his Instagram page some time back. In the video, he talks about how much he loves his car. The Fiat 1100 was bought by the actor back in 1960 for Rs 18,000.
The actor was a newcomer to the industry, and he was slowly rising to fame with more movies and roles. While he was doing well, he still had a sense of insecurity in his mind. He was worried that he might stop getting roles or might get replaced by someone very soon.
So the Fiat 1100 was actually his car and also a backup plan. He bought the car with the intention that in case he lost his job as an actor, he could always drive his car on the streets of Mumbai as a taxi. The car would help him earn a living.
However, his fears never turned into reality, and the car continued to stay in his garage. While he had several expensive cars in his collection, Dharmendra made sure that the Fiat 1100 was well maintained.
In the video that the actor posted online, it was clear that he had restored the car. The car was finished in a shade of olive green and bronze. The car looks elegant and had not lost its charm.
The front grille, bumper, and chrome accents on other parts of the car’s body were restored and repainted in bronze or copper accents. The rest of the body panels get the olive green shade. The interior of the car were also restored for a fresh look.
