Lately, many rich businessmen in the country have been updating their car collections. Some of them are buying sports cars and SUVs, while others are buying expensive luxury cars. Savji Dholakia, who is known as the Indian diamond king, is famous for gifting hundreds of cars to his employees. This time around, he decided to update his own fleet by buying a brand-new Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II. Along with the Cullinan, he also bought not one, but three Mercedes-Benz G580 electric luxury SUVs.

Videos and images of the newly bought G580 EVs and Rolls-Royce Cullinan are available on social media. The posts shared here have been uploaded by Supercars Club Surat on their Instagram page.

Let’s start with the Mercedes-Benz G580 electric luxury SUV. It is the first electric iteration of the legendary G-Wagen SUV. Mercedes-Benz launched this all-new electric SUV at the Bharat Mobility Expo this year, and deliveries started soon after.

The car looks just like a regular G63 AMG. In fact, in one of the pictures, you can see multiple G-Wagen SUVs. All four are finished in the same shade of blue, and it almost looks like they are all G63 AMGs. However, when you check the registration numbers, you realize that only one of them is a G63 AMG and the rest are G580 EQs.

Just like the previous-generation model, the G580 EQ SUV gets premium features like two 12.3-inch displays (one for the instrument cluster and the other for the infotainment screen), electrically adjustable seats, heated and cooled seats, multi-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, and many more features.

Just like the ICE version, the electric G-Wagen has also been designed for off-roading. It gets independent suspension on the front axle and a stiff axle at the back. The SUV also gets four electric motors, one for each wheel. The G580 EQ is powered by a 116 kWh battery pack that generates 587 PS and 1,164 Nm of peak torque.

The electric SUV has a certified range of 473 km. It supports fast charging and can be charged in just 32 minutes. The SUV can go from 0–100 km/h in just under 5 seconds, and the top speed has been restricted to 180 km/h. The price for a brand-new G580 EQ in India is ₹3 crore (ex-showroom). In short, the businessman has spent over ₹10 crores on these three G580 EQs combined.

Now let’s move to the Rolls-Royce. The Cullinan Series II SUV is finished in a clean white shade. We assume that this is not an ordinary white, and Rolls-Royce must have added their flair to the colour to make it look unique.

The Cullinan Series II is actually the updated or facelifted version of the previous Cullinan. We do not have any pictures or details of the customisations. All these customisations would have taken the cost up.

The Cullinan is powered by the same 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 engine paired with an automatic transmission, and power is sent to all four wheels. The SUV generates 571 PS and 850 Nm of peak torque. The price for a standard Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II SUV is ₹10.50 crore (ex-showroom). The combined value of the cars he recently purchased is easily over Rs 20 crore.
