The Maruti WagonR needs no introduction in the Indian context. First launched in India in 1999, this tall-boy hatchback soon rose to acceptance. Even today, WagonR variants are in good demand. Over the years, we have also seen multiple builds and modification jobs based on the hatchback as well. This here could be the wildest of all- a butch, off-road ready WagonR that bags eyeballs wherever it goes. Before you get too excited, this isn't a real car. It is just a digital imagination/rendering of the breathtaking concept.

A Closer Look At This Beefed-Up WagonR

This rendering has been shared online by the Instagram handle Motor Recode. It shows a striking design that shows an off-road readied Maruti Wagon R. It is raised, stiffened, made rugged and rides on massive off-road tyres. The vehicle wears what looks like a Sandstorm colour.

This off-road-ready WagonR gets a raised suspension setup. It stands quite tall. The ground clearance looks massive. The front bumper has been replaced with an off-road-ready metal bumper. It even gets a metallic skid plate and crash guard integrated into it. Two auxiliary lamps can be found on the crash guard. The grille is finished in Black.

The vehicle also gets a snorkel, suggesting it would be able to go water-wading too. The roof gets a metallic carrier and auxiliary lamps mounted on it. The wheels are massive and get off-road tyres. The rear wheel arches are flared. Take a look at the rear, and you will realise that this concept has the spare wheel mounted on its tailgate.

This off-road spec Wagon R is shown doing stunts and spirited driving on various terrain and in different settings. Visuals suggest it to be equipped with All Wheel Drive (AWD). It looks menacing and is simply the wildest mod we have seen yet. It also happens to be the coolest WagonR that even money can't buy.

Netizens React

The Instagram reel has been getting interesting comments. Most people seem to be impressed by the design. Many seem to have taken inspiration from it. 'I can see some guy in Kerala getting motivated' commented a user. The South Indian state arguably has some of the best modified cars and craziest builds. One shouldn't be surprised if an enthusiast from Kerala ends up building this. 'Bruh you gave me project car idea' commented another user.
